*Day of Academic Decathlon*
I grab my things and start running down the stairs. I get in my car and make my way to the school. I park my car and get out. I see everyone in yellow jackets waiting
" Hi Y/N " Liz says to me
"Hey. I hope I'm not late" I say and she shakes her head no
" Nope. Just on time"
" Okay" I say to her just as my phone rings. It's Tony calling. I groan as I answer it
"Yes Tony"
I just wanted to say be safe and I love you
" I will and I love you too" I say then I start to walk away a little
Are you alone? he asks
"Yep"
Your parents are headed to Washington Why? We have no idea. But you need to keep your eye on everything around you
"Okay Tony. I will"
Love you Y/N/N
"Love you too dad"
As soon as I hang up I see Peter walking up to the group
"Hey, it's Peter" Abe says
"Guys" Peter responds
" Peter?" Liz says as she turns around. I walk up behind Peter
"Yeah, I was hoping maybe I could rejoin the team" Peter says then Flash pushes past some people and says
"No, no way. You can't just quit on us, stroll up, and be welcomed back by everyone"
Then Mr. Harrington comes off the bus
"Hey, welcome back, Peter. Flash, you're back to first alternate" he says to Flash and I laugh. Peter smiles at me
"What?" Flash asks
"He's taking your place"
"Y/N are you okay with being second alternate?" Mr. Harrington asks me
" Yea sure that's fine" I say then I look at Peter " As long as I get to be part of a team" we both smile
"Excuse me, can we go already? 'Cause I was hoping to get in some light protesting in front of one of the embassies before dinner, so" Michelle says out of no where
"Protesting is patriotic. Let's get on the bus" Mr. Harrington says
Flash takes off his jacket and sullenly thrusts it to Peter
*On the bus*
While everyone sits towards the front of the bus and starts to practice I sit in the back away from them. I'm trying to hack into any camera's around Washington to see if I can find my parents
I don't pay attention to whats around me cause all of a sudden I see Peter make his way to the seat behind Ned. He's on the phone but I don't know with who. Probably Happy
"Nothing. Look, it's just the Academic Decathlon. It's no big deal" I hear him say and I chuckle a little

We make it to the hotel and it is gorgeous
" Everyone stick together" Liz says
" Yeah" Mr. Harrington agrees
"You kidding me? This place is huge" Charles says
"I've seen bigger" Flash says
" So have I" I say and he turns to look at me
" My god father is Tony Stark. I've seen some places" I says
" Hey, you brought your laptop, right?" I hear Peter say. I turn around thinking he was talking to me. Then I realize he was talking to Ned
" Why?" Ned responds
"Please don't do anything stupid" I say and they both look at me
" Should be saying that to you" Peter responds
"How's your injury?" Ned ask me
"Uh it's gone" I respond
"Gone?" Ned ask
"What do you mean gone?" Peter asks me but before I could respond I see something that catches me off guard
"It's them" I say as I see my parents. Peter and Ned look at me crazy then look behind them. When they look back I look at Peter. Tears start to fall
"What do you mean? There's no one there" Peter says and I look behind him and there isn't anyone there. I start to look around frantically and I don't see them anymore
"Who did you see?" Ned asks me
"My parents" I whisper as I still look around
"Hey" Peter says as he puts his hands on my shoulder to stop me
"They aren't here. You have nothing to worry about. Okay?" he says to me and I nod. I start to calm down but the tears keep falling. He notice this and hugs me
"That's never happen before. I haven't had illusions of them being near me" I say. He lets go of me and I wipe away my tears away
"Don't stress yourself out Y/N. It's going to be okay" Ned reassures me
" Right. Okay" I says as I take a deep breath in and let it out
"Better?" they both ask me
"Much" I respond
Someone behind me grabs my shoulders and I scream. I turn around to see Michelle
"Hey roommate" she responds
I jokingly groan " We got put in the same room didn't we"
She shoves me a little
"Hey at least act a little surprise. This is going to be great"
" Hell yea it is" I say and we high five each other
"Let's go to our room" she says and I nod. I turn to the boys "Be careful alright?"
" We will" Ned responds
"Maybe" Peter says and I glare at him playfully " I mean it Parker"
"Okay L/N. Will do" he says and I roll my eyes playfully while smiling. I turn around to follow Michelle to our room
