Diana's P.O.V.

Shifting through the covers I slowly woke up to an empty bed noticing that Adrian is gone. I rubbed my eyes lightly wondering where he could be when the events from yesterday came crashing back. I instantly turned my head to the desk where I left the letter containing information of the fox-demi gods gone.

"Shit! The letter!"

I climbed out the bed rushing to the bathroom to get changed not caring how my hair looks I just put it in a bun and ran out the room to Adrain's study to find him sitting at his desk with a hard look on his face. My eyes scanned the room to see not only Adrian but his parents, Owen, Megan and a man who I never have seen before.

"Glad you can make it my little rose. Mind explaining how you found this letter?"

The tone from his voice was serious. Seeing him this way made me feel very sick. It was like I was trying to fight my stomach from throwing up.

"Relax my dear. Just calmly tell them where you found the letter." Bell calmly told me. Even with her calm voice, I was still on edge.

All eyes were on me. The room was silent. So silent you could hear a pin dropping to the floor. The silence was not helping in any way. Inside I wanted to run, but I knew I have no chance of escaping.

I calmly took a deep breath so that I could explain. "Well...I was wondering around the castle to familiarize myself with my surroundings so that I would not have to get lost and you don't have to send a search party for me."

A snicker escaped from the mystery man's lips as he tried to cover it.

"Go on," Adrain said.

"Right. Um. While I was wandering around, I found a hidden passage with a secret room. I looked around the room and noticed that it was a vacant room. There was a half hanging portrait. When I moved it there was a safe already open with that latter. I read and found out that it contained some evidence of who the fox-demi gods are. I was planning on telling you until I ran into Owen and found out you were ill."

Adrain looked at Owen.

"Is this true Owen?" Adrain asked.

Hold up. Did he just ask if it was true? Dose he does not believe me!?

"It's true," Owen said.

"Well. Now that we have this letter in our possession, we will be able to understand who they are." Adrain said.

Everyone in the room started chatting along coming up with plans and ideas to use and tell the alpha king. I stood where I was fully upset and also feeling ignored. I didn't think Adrain was like this. Seeing as it seems I won't be of any help to this, I turned to leave the room. Just as I was about to open the door Adrain stropped me.
