"Miss? Miss can you hear me?" I open my eyes and meet with a EMT. I sit up and look around. I realize I'm on the ground outside the monument
"What is your name Miss?" He asks me
"Y/N...Y/N L/N" I say
"Y/N" I hear Peter's voice
"Pete?" the EMT helps me up and Peter rushes over to me. He hugs me tightly
"I'm so glad you're okay" He says then he lets go of me
May walks up to me and hugs me too. I was kind of surprised but I hugged her back
"They said that one minute you were on top of the monument then you were inside and you just teleported out here" Peter says
I looked at him crazy
"I teleport in my sleep?" He nods
"Are you okay?" May asks me and I nod. I look over at Peter "Everyone is safe" He says
"Spider-Man saved them" He says and I sigh " Thank god" I say as I hug him again
"Y/N!" I open my eyes and see Happy. I let go of Peter and run over to him. He hugs me " I'm so glad you're okay. Tony told me about what happened last night as well"
I look down at my feet " No one's mad at you Y/N. Just remember that"
I look up at him and nod "Okay"
"Let's get you home alright?"
"Okay but wait I'll be back" I say and I run over to Peter and May and hug Peter "Text me when you two get back home okay?" I say to him as I let go. I hug May too
"I will. You do the same since you live farther away" Peter says as I let go of May
"I will" I say with a smile. I walk to Happy and we make our way to the car
*Monday morning*
Happy didn't want me driving to school so he dropped me off. As soon as I walked into school everyone was talking about how Spider- Man saved the Decathlon team and how I just stood there
" This past weekend, Midtown's Academic Decathlon team defeated the country's best to win the national championship. Later that day, they also defeated death" I hear Jason says on the students news
"Did you hear how Y/N did absolutely nothing to save them. What a coward" I hear someone says as I make my way down the hall to my locker
Everyone looks at me in disgust. Like I should have done something but I just...couldn't. I get to my locker and grab my books. I close my locker and look down the hall. I see Peter and Ned walking down the hall so I walk towards them
"Dude, you want to be a high school dropout?" I hear Ned say once I got close to them
"I am so far beyond high school right now" Peter says as he's about to walk out the school but is stopped by the principle
" Parker, my office" Principal Morita says to Peter and they walk to his office
Ned turns around when he notice me standing there
"Oh hey Y/N"
"Hey Ned" I say in a whisper as I watch Peter walk away
"You okay?" Ned asks me and I look at him
"Not really. Just wanna go home honestly"
"Is it because of what happened in Washington or everyone's comments?"
