If Sayaka haven't fallen in love with Touko, the route of the story would be like this;
Day 1:
Announcer: "First Year Representative, Nanami Touko."
Touko: -stands up- Yes.
As Touko walked the isle, Sayaka just look at her uninterested and proceeded to think about something encouraging herself to surpass Touko.
Day 3:
As Sayaka walked down on the hall, there's Touko on front of her and,
Touko: -waving- Saeki-san, good morning!
Sayaka: Good morning to you too, Nanami-san. -walking pass over Touko-
Sayaka finds Touko a little bit annoying and goes to the library to study more.
Day 5:
First quiz in Math was held on this day.
Sayaka got herself perfect marks on this quiz, surpassing Touko with one mistake.
Touko approached her during break.
Touko: Congratulations, Saeki-san! It seems that you did well during the quiz.~
Sayaka: -still reading- Ah, it was nothing.
Touko: Ah, by the way, can we be friends?
Sayaka: -stands up- I'm not interested.
Sayaka left Touko hanging with thoughts of being disliked.
Day 8:
Sayaka is currently searching for clubs that could piques her interests and she saw Touko being hoarded by some club members to join their club. Sayaka just passed them and reads the bulletin board on their side.
"Flower Arrangement Club is recruiting."
Sayaka made up her mind on joining it.
Day 11:
During break time.
Touko is currently chatting with their classmates while sitting on Sayaka's table. Sayaka entered the room and approach her place. Touko removed herself on Sayaka's desk and smiled towards her. Sayaka sits down on her chair and reads a book about Floriculture.
Touko: Saeki-san, good day~
Sayaka: -still reading- Same to you.
Touko: What are you currently reading?
Sayaka: -still reading- Basic Floriculture.
Touko: What's it about?
Sayaka: -still reading- It's about flowers.
Touko: That sounds interesting~
Sayaka: -smiling while reading- Indeed.
Touko blushed hard and as she saw Sayaka smiling like an angel while reading a book like a noble lady do. She spaced out while looking at her until the teacher came in to the room to resume the classes.
Later that night;
Touko can't stop thinking about the face Sayaka made while reading and finding her beautiful. Little did she know that Sayaka stole her heart at that day.
Day 12:
Sayaka is currently reading as usual in the classroom and Touko is staring at her like a picture in front her. Touko smiled as she thought; "She's really beautiful when she smiles. I wonder when will I see it again." Touko didn't realize that her seatmate is staring at her.
Hinata: Ahem!
Touko: *shocked* What the?!
Hinata: It seems the Miss Representative is not on her usual self today.
Touko: Huh?
Hinata: You're staring at Es for the whole period.
Touko: Es?
Hinata: Saeki Sayaka-san is like Es from AlterEgo game. She's always reading and giving out cold responses. That's why all of us call her that.
Touko: Es... First letter of her name. That makes sense~ "If only I could make her notice me."
As they continued talking, Touko looked back at Sayaka and noticed that she is not there. Touko frowned.
Hinata: You sure like Es, don't you?
Touko: -blushing- No, I'm not!
