I know Receiver and P4D Style didn't get together until a couple of months later. But for this story only, I'm going to pretend that they are together. Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Ah, February 15th. If you must know, today is Remote Controller's anniversary. And today is also Reese Jacobs [Receiver] and his sister Tracy [Transmitter]'s birthday. They are turning 17 this year.
Receiver: Hey, look Tracy! It snowed last night.
Transmitter: Cool! It snowed on our birthday.
Receiver: We should make breakfast.
Transmitter: Ooh! You should invite your girlfriend over!
Receiver: You mean Genesis? But what if she doesn't want to come?
Transmitter: She's your girlfriend! Why do you think she wouldn't want to come on our birthday?
Receiver: Well, maybe she has other things to do.
Transmitter: Just try calling her.
Receiver: Fine.
After breakfast, Receiver made a call to his girlfriend Genesis Biscoe [P4D Style] and she said that she was on her way. Reese and Tracy were now playing Just Dance 2020 until she gets to their house. Suddenly, the doorbell was heard.
Transmitter: I got it!
She went to answer the door.
Transmitter: Hi, Genny!
P4D Style: Hey, Tracy. Happy birthday.
Transmitter: Thank you. Come on in and away from the cold.
Genesis went in the house. She saw her boyfriend Reese taking a break. She surprised him by sneaking up behind him and giving him a kiss.
Receiver: I think I know who that is.
P4D Style: Hey, Reese. Happy birthday.
Receiver: Thanks. I was playing the new Just Dance game until you got here.
P4D Style: Cool. Can I play?
Receiver: Of course.
Transmitter: I'll make the cake! I've learned a few things from Darci and Lillian.
P4D Style: Alright, then.
And so, Reese and Genesis were still playing Just Dance and other fun games while Tracy was making the cake. But suddenly, they heard the door knock.
P4D Style: Uh, Reese? Are you expecting anyone else?
Receiver: No. I'll get it, Tracy!
He answered the door to find a man in his early 40s and a woman in her late 30s standing there.
Receiver: Uh, can I help you?
Man: Happy birthday, son.
Receiver: Mom? Dad? Is it really you?
Transmitter: Reese? Who's at the door?
Mrs. Jacobs: Is our little girl also in there?
Receiver: Yeah. Come on in.
Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs entered the house. Tracy saw them enter and stopped what she was doing.
Transmitter: Mom? Daddy?
Mr. Jacobs: It is us. Your parents.
Tracy showed tears in her eyes. She went over and hugged her parents and cried on them. Receiver did the same.
Mrs. Jacobs: We really missed you kids.
Mr. Jacobs: Our boss gave us the day off, so we can spend it with you 2. Just on your birthday.
Receiver: Well, this is a great surprise!
Transmitter: I missed you so much!
Mr. Jacobs: We miss you, too.
Mrs. Jacobs: Who's the lovely lady in our living room?
P4D Style: Oh, hi. I'm Genesis Biscoe. I'm Reese's girlfriend. You must be Reese and Tracy's parents. It's nice to meet you.
Mr. Jacobs: Reese. You never told us about a girlfriend.
Receiver: You and Mom barely come home anymore, Dad.
Mrs. Jacobs: We know, sweetie. But we've just been so busy with making video games for you and your sister to enjoy.
Mr. Jacobs: Genesis, was it? How much of a fan are you to video gaming?
P4D Style: I'm a big fan, sir.
Mrs. Jacobs: How old are you, young lady?
P4D Style: I'm 18, ma'am.
Receiver: Mom! Dad! Don't pressure her with questions.
P4D Style: It's okay, Reese.
Mrs. Jacobs: How much do you love our little boy?
P4D Style: Very much, ma'am.
Mr. Jacobs: Well, if that's how you feel about Reese...then you have our blessing to eventually marry and have children with him.
P4D Style: Thank you, sir.
Transmitter: Guys, the cake is done!
Mrs. Jacobs: Ooh! You made that cake all by yourself? I'm so proud of you!
And so, the Jacobs family and P4D Style enjoyed their slice of their cake that Tracy made. Their parents just made their birthday better. And Genesis feels proud that they gave her their blessing to do whatever she wants with Reese. She hopes one day to have kids and marry him.
