Part 18

The next day

I woke up before Bronny and decided to walk downstairs to grab a water. I slipped out his arms and quietly walked out the room and downstairs when I saw Bryce eating breakfast at the bar. "Wassup Clay?" I walked over and gave him a side hug and walked to the fridge to grab my water. "Nothing much. Everybody asleep?" I asked before I sipped my water. "Nah. Dad's in the gym outside and Mom and Zhuri are making a YouTube video outside." I nodded my head in understatement. "Whatchu got planned for today?" "Well I don't have practice. So probably play 2k or Fortnite." An idea popped in my head. "You wanna go to the mall when you're done and to the movies tonight since we hardly get to spend time together?" Bryce started smiling when I said that. "Yeah! Lemme finish and get dressed and we can go!" I laughed and started to walk toward the backyard "Hey Savannah. Hey Zhuri." Zhuri ran from behind the table and grabbed my arm pulling me in front of the camera. "Guys. This is my brother Bronny's girlfriend Clay. She's my bestfriend!" I smiled and waved at the camera. "Can you help me with the flowers Clay?! Pretty please?!" I laughed and looked inside the window at Bryce. "Yeah I got time!" Me and Zhuri started planting flowers and she showed me how to do it. Once we were done, she went to do the outro and I ran in to get ready for me and Bryce's day out.
15 minutes later
I was finally ready and I told Bronny where I was going. He couldn't come because he had practice so I gave him a kiss and walked to get Bryce out his room. "You ready Bryce?" He nodded his head and grabbed his phone and we walked downstairs. "Mom. I'm going out with Clay to the mall and movies." Bryce told his mom who was sitting on the couch. "That's fine. But be back at a reasonable hour." Zhuri ran up and gave us a hug and we walked out the door. Our uber was already here so we hopped in and he took us to the mall. We spent about 2 hours there and I bought Bryce and Bronny some basketball shoes and got Zhuri a pair of shoes to match some that I had because she liked them. We walked to the food market and ate and then shoppes a little bit more. We walked in the jewelry store and I bought Bronny and Bryce a chain and Zhuri a necklace with the matching earrings. We got and Uber back to the house and hid everything in Bryce's room before we left again to go to the movies. We went and watched the new scary movie "Brahms The Boy 2" and we both almost had a heart attack. On the way home, we had the Uber driver stop by In-N-Out and we grabbed a burger and some fries to eat rice we hadn't eat since the food court earlier today. After about 15 minutes, we made it back to the house and we grabbed the gifts and gave Zhuri hers first. I gave her the shoes first and she had a mini heart attack. Then I gave her the necklace and earrings. "THANK YOU CLAY!" she said excitedly and hugged me as I laughed. She ran downstairs with her gift yelling "MOMMY LOOK WHAT CLAY GOT ME!" Then I walked in Bronnys room and gave him his shoes and chain. He thanked me and gave me a kiss and we hung out a while before my Dad came to pick me up.
