It's been a week and Kamden and I been texting everyday.
It ain't nothing serious though.
She gotta man and I understand that.
Besides I'm not her type.
She was telling me what all happened, once she had calmed down.
Her boyfriend Tristan was a drug dealer and got shot in the head and chest.
As far as I know he's still in a coma.
She seems too like 'street' guys. I may live in the 'hood' but I'M not hood.
I'm in college,
I've been a straight A student all my life,
and I work full time as a photographer.
I'm not saying Kamden would be better off with me,
I'm just saying she would be safer with someone who is not in the game.

It's obvious she loves him.
I just know when I met her and she found out he got shot,
she panicked and was in a state of shock.
I didn't like that.
A girl that beautiful doesn't deserve that much hurt.
No girl does.
That's why I was so reluctant to help her.
I just wanted to be her shoulder to cry on.
But, now that I know her,
I've grown to like her and care for her.
