"I've got it," Oliver told a butler who was grabbing a box he brought back with him from the island. Lizzie was sitting on Oliver's left hip while looking around at the Queen Mansion.
"Your room is exactly as you left it. I never had the heart to change a thing," Moira told Oliver as they walked inside. Oliver put the bow on the ground took a good look around. A man came walking forward with a smile on his face.
"Oliver. Damn good to see you. It's Walter. Walter Steele," he said as he saw the weird, blank look on Oliver's face.
"You remember Walter. Your father's friend from the company," Moira said, trying to have him remember.
"It's good to see you, Raisa," Oliver finally said as the housemaid who looked after him, came walking out, she had a big smile on her face as soon as she saw him.
"Welcome home, Mr. Oliver," Raisa said with a Russian accent, she gave Oliver and Lizzie a hug before turning her attention to Moira. "Mr. Merlyn phoned. He wants to join you for dinner. And who is this little one?" Raisa whispered the last part as she looked at Lizzie.
"Wonderful," Moira said while walking over to Walter Steele. "Oliver? Did you hear that?" His mother asked as she heard the sound of a door closing. Oliver walked over to the stairs and put Lizzie on the ground, but still held her hand.
"Hey, sis," he said, a small smile on his face.
"I knew it. I knew you were alive. I missed you so much," Thea said, sounding determined as she walked down the stairs and gave her older brother a hug.
"You were with me the whole time," Oliver said, still hugging Thea. They didn't let go till Lizzie came and pulled Thea's shirt. Thea pulled apart and looked down at the little girl.
"Who is this?" Thea said and crouched down to he level. Lizzie hid behind her father's leg.
"This is Lizzie. She is my daughter," Oliver said slowly. Thea gave him a look and he said, "not biological." She nodded.
"Hi. I'm Thea, I'm your aunt," Thea said, turning to look at Lizzie. Lizzie nodded in acknowledgment, she was also biting her lip.
"What did I tell you? Yachts suck," Tommy Merlyn said as he walked through the front door.
"Tommy Merlyn," Oliver said with a smile as he turned around from the picture of his dad and him from when he was younger.
"I missed you, buddy," Tommy said as he hugged his best friend.
"Okay, what else did you miss? Super Bowl winners: Giants, Steelers, Saints, Packers, Giants again. A black president, that's new. Oh, and Lost. They were all dead. I think," Tommy said while eating his dinner at the Queen's mansion, catching Oliver up on the past 5 years. Lizzie was eating slowly and playing with her food, slightly uncomfortable. She didn't make eye contact with anyone around the table except her father. She had this worried glance every time she looked up. She sat next to her father not wanting to leave his side.
"What was it like there?" Thea asks, everyone stops. Wanting to know the answer but scared of what he will say at the same time. After a beat of silence, Oliver finally says,
"Cold."
"Tomorrow, you and me do the city. You've got a lot to catch up on," Tommy says after a moment.
