I was on my way to see Isaac.
I quickly ran out of my car and pretty much pounded on the door.
Isaac's dad answered it. "Sophie," He said formally.
"I have to see him," Was all I said.
"He's not in," Kenneth swiftly lied.
I roll my eyes and moved passed him.
I barged into Isaac's room, and, sure enough, he was snoring away. He looked so tired he had bags under his eyes
I looked out the window, and saw that guy Sam and some other guys I run outside. I stalk right up to the to them
"Look I don't know what kind of game you're all trying to play, but keep Isaac out of it he's my friend! I say pushing some guy chest. They looked like big bullies
"Sophie, calm down," Sam said, putting a hand out.
Hell no! I say. I keep going. "You're terrifying Isaac
"We're terrifying Isaac?" Some dude says, and laughs. I just got mad and punched him
Then that dudes body was shaking. "Calm down, Paul," Sam said to Paul, and to me, he says, "Sophie, backup."
I backed right up, and Sam kept telling Paul to calm down, but that seemed to make Paul even angrier. he turned in to a wolf oh crap
I almost screamed as a regular looking man turned into a gigantic ass werewolf. I immediately backed up farther as Paul moved to step closer to me. That was all I needed to turn and run in the other direction. Just as I started running, Isaac came running out of the house. "Sophie!"
"Run, Isaac !" I screamed as I ran.He came closer to me as I ran, and I literally had to duck under him as he jumped into the air, phasing.
I landed on the hard ground, bumping my head against a rock. I lifted my head, ignoring the warm trickle of blood trailing down my forehead as I watched Isaac -now a wolf-going after Paul. They both snarled, and Isaac jumped at Paul first
They kept at it until Isaac knocked Paul into a tree, pushing their fight into the woods.
I was so focused on Isaac and Paul that I barely heard Sam mumble something, and Embry and Jared came over, gently grabbing at my arms. I immediately snapped my arms away from them, but I eventually let them help me up. I was shaky on my feet, and when my hand went to my forehead, it was slicked with blood.I ripped off a piece of my jacket Jasper bought me this jacket...
Each of them still holding my arms, they led me to a car, and put me into the backseat. I think I surprised the guys when I didn't shake or cry. Eh, I dated a vampire, I don't think it could get much worse than this.
I finally came back into focus when the car stopped, and Embry and Jared got out of the car.
"Hey, I think we should go back for Isaac ," I say, turning the car window down.
"I hope Paul sinks some teeth into him," Jared says gruffly to Embry. "Serves him right."
"No way," Embry argued.
"Isaac's a natural. You see him phase on the fly? I got a fiver that says Paul doesn't touch him."
"Easy money," Jared says dismissingly.
"Paul's been at it longer
"Come on, we won't bite," Embry says.
"Speak for yourself," Jared comments, and I roll my eyes at them.
