I woke up the next morning, the taste of cheese still lingering in my mouth. I looked at the clock realizing it was time for my to get up and get dressed. I threw on a clean pair of under garments, dark blue jeans, and a red baseball T. I walked into the bathroom and grabbed my brush and started to comb through my hair. Once I brushed my teeth, slipped on my shoes, and wrote a note telling my parents that I decided to leave early, I was out the door. I walked towards my new Jeep Cat and I would be taking to the states beach. I had just gotten the car last month for my 17th birthday. It wasn't exactly new, more like used. But I still loved it just as much. I put the key in the ignition and started down the driveway. As I passed trees and church's and gas stations, I couldn't stop thinking about Calum. I didn't know a whole lot about him, but he was really nice and sweet. I pulled up to Cats house and sent her a text.
I'm here,I sent. After about three minutes, Cat came out with one big bag and a small one.
"You ready?" I asked, a big grin speeding across my face.
"Yup!" Cat answered. I put the car in reverse, as we started to head toward the beach. It would be a two and half hour drive, and I am not good at keeping secrets. So I would have to tell her about Calum.
