It was my first day of 5th grade and I was excited. The classroom looked so colorful with many decorations and cute banners on the ceiling, but something stopped my thoughts.
"Hello class, I'll be your teacher for this year! My name is Mrs. Morris." Mrs. Morris said as she walked over to showcase herself to the class. "Okay let's start off with everyone making friends by getting up and meeting new people." The teacher exclaimed.
I talked to a lot of kids after we got up but, only one really caught my attention. Gabby Sanchez. She was a quiet person and also very nice if you ask me. She liked reading and had other common interests like me. Gabby even liked a lot of the music that I liked.
Fast forward on we started to have play dates that turned into sleepovers. We never had any at Gabby's house though. I never knew why until one time I convinced Gabby to go to her house. Anyways we won't talk about that right now.
But besides everything overall Gabby was a special person and felt like a sister.
