The feeling we feel which you don't understand,
It's when I forget the fun of playing in the sand,
When nothing feels wrong or right,
And there is only dim, fading light.
When I can't explain anything,
When it feels I have broken the string,
After the cold settles in,
And all my emotions pile up in a bin.
When I don't have any motivation,
Then the reality starts to feel like fiction,
When I think of giving up on myself,
When it feels useless to call for help.
After the storms of sorrow end,
When I am too tired to make amends,
At the end when silence comes,
Then comes the feeling of being numb.
