Carries life is perfect.
She has everything she always wanted-a lot of friends, the guy of her dreams, as of her freshmen year in high school, the best clothes; etc. Scratch that- she has the "best life" in her dreams. Carrie doesn't have many friends in her town, the next town, or the next. She does not have a boyfriend either. A lot of crushes, but not mutual ones. Her clothes are very nice though, she was crowned fashionista in her ninth grade year book, with the total of five votes. She expressed herself in the clothes she wore, the designers she pranced around the hallways in. People were jealous of her clothes. For living in Long Island, and going to a public school, Carrie went to a classy school. Her school was the opposite of all the others. With the total of a little over 1,000 kids in the whole high school, the small group of kids were all wealthy.
The small schools only problem was simply the size. Not many kids, means that not many people to turn to if you fight with your friends. Everyone all had their friend groups, and it seemed Carrie did not. She was friendly with all the groups, even the popular ones, but no one would describe Carrie as a best friend, or "in their group." With this problem, Carrie simply did not want to live here anymore. She was sick of the size of the school, and the many cons along with it, and she hated the ridiculously rude teachers.
Carrie always loved the city. The way the taxis beeped at the cars, or their fellow taxis, the way she would be able to walk the streets at night and feel free, the way she could see the different cultures and religions filled in the city. She admired the history of it, too. So the only problem was that her mother would not want to take care of two houses. She told her mother she would be okay with selling the one they currently lived in for an apartment in the city. Her brother was already in his second year in college, and her sister was in her last year of high school, so the only person whose say it was, was Carrie, herself. And of course her parents, but they were most likely to agree.
Her parents did agree, and Carrie Conroy was finally starting her new life in the city.
