Percy

i had just returned from a quest to bring back posiedons trident.and yeah ,i had gone with my cousins thalia and nico.  i was dying to meet annabeth.

after i met chiron, i went to see annabeth .

i knocked on the athena cabin.

malcolm opened it.

"hey malcolm"i said. and without me asking him to , he called annabeth.

"annabeth , percy's here". annabeth came their. she looked glum. when she saw me she forced a smile." hey perce" she said . i gave her a peck on the lips and asked her if she wanted to go to the beach. " not now perce, after some time" . i nodded.why was she so sad? i thought as i headed back to my cabin.

" percy " someone said from particularly no where. i jumped and took out riptide. i saw as nico emerged from the shadows. "hey dude its me . calm down.". "hey nico" i said. on this day, he was the only camper other than leo and piper who had talked to me. i did not know why but the other campers had been avoiding me .

"i ' ve got to tell u something."

"yeah sure" i said .

" umm , u will not like it"

"go ahead"

" the thing is percy , while we were off on a quest, well, another camper, a son of ares came. he defeated a neamen lion and yeah, medusa. he is the hero now , so well ... i am sorry for u."

"dont be nico, i do not care about the spotlight"

nico just shrugged.

TIME LAPSE

i didn't know why but everyone was behaving rudely with me. even jason  . i didn't know why. what had i done?

anyway i was having dinner on my table when i saw that annabeth was not there. i frowned.

i finished my dinner soon and went to find annabeth.

i checked her cabin , she wasnt there. i checked the arena, she wasnt even there.

then i went to the beach.the sight i saw broke my heart. annabeth was kissing someone and it was not me. it hurt very much. it hurt more than the dip in styx. it hurt more than watching my friends die. it hurt like  hell.

i decided it .then and there. i was leaving.

i left the beach and went to say my last goodbyes to my friends.

after saying goodbye to nico and grover, i thought i should leave. saying goodbye to anyone else would result in me not going. i packed my bags , and at night, i left the camp.when i was just a few yards away from camp , hermes appeared in front of me.

" hello percy". he sounde sad

" hello" i said glumly

" you are required in olympus"

"why? " i asked

" you 'll know"

and the next thing i knew,we were in olympus .

as usual, the gods were arguing.

hermes cleared his throat loudly.

" he is here".

" perseus jackson , we have decided to offer you and all of the seven ,including the son of hades, immortality.

i sighed. they did not know.

should i or shouldn't i?

i frowned.

if i do accept immortality, i would have to cope up with annabeth forever.

" i am sorry gods. i do not wish to be immortal"

zeus frowned.

"but "- " oh ho .. girl problems" aphrodite cut zeus.

then it dawned on zeus.

suddenly , there was a bright light in the room.

a person materialised in front of me.
