Elena's baby

Chapter 7

Elena's POV

Its seven am and I woke up in the morning. Gotta get fresh gotta go get up. Gotta have breakfast. Seeing everything and the time is going. Ticking on and on everybody in the house is rushing to get me to my appointment.

"Hurry guys we have to get my car already"
I said but then I see another car parked close to me except bigger "Oh no" I said turning back around towards Caroline who has a disbelief look on her face.

"Klaus" He stood there like he knew something "what are you doing here" Caroline said as Stefan resumed putting my bags into the trunk.

"Well I there was a rumor about a new baby, a vampire baby" Klaus said walking closer to us as I backed away to Stefan "I also heard that it was Elena's" Klaus said and took the keys from Caroline and went to the drivers seat in the car.

We all hopped in the car with Caroline in the front and Stephan next to me in the back. "Anyone care to explain how this happened" Klaus said starting the car.

"Bonnie has a witch doctor friend that we go to for check ups and her name is Bellona Kavay" Klaus nodded "Oh so that goody goody witch" I nodded and he started to drive I guess he knows where she lives.

When we had arrived at the house Klaus took me inside while Stefan grabbed my bags. My bags held my pregnancy things like snacks, water, plastic bags, napkins, small blanket, and a pillow because we tended to stay in one place for a while. Morning sickness, and I am always tired and have headaches. Okay fine and even constipation...

We got inside and walked to the back room where she examines me. Her house was a mix of modern, country, and old fashioned. Bellona matched her house perfectly. Bellona Kavay was on of the good witches or mostly known as "white witches" and she had a nice, strong, and great personality as well.

Bellona loves to help people and to go out and wants try new things. She is also very book smart and can be a little ignorant at times. Bellona grew up with her old grandmother back in the old days and she has stayed young forever. Bellona stays home a lot and she is really sweet and kind, but she thinks for herself and knows what she has to do. And that is why we chose her to be our doctor. Especially since Rebekah told me about what happened with Hailey's old doctor.

The witch tells me that everything is normal, But its not. Actually my pregnancy is far from normal. Bellona Kavay asks me questions about my pregnancy and what is going on in my social life.

And there was me being trying to be funny by saying "Well Doc, my most recent selfie on ig got 10 likes since I posted it last week" and that was followed by a giggle from me and and she looked confused and we awkwardly tried to laughed it off.

My social life hasn't really been that bad, but it hasn't been that great either. Stefan and I were talking about traveling and then find a place to settle down. Then we realized I still had to finish college and that we had a baby to worry about so that was soon crossed off our list of things to think about right now.

"Elena, can you lye down and pull up your shirt" Bellona sweetly said with a small smile and that was also when I realized that I had zoned out and Stefan had been answering her questions.

I did as I was told. Bellona made me flinch from the sudden feeling of her cold hands on my small baby bump. Bellona started saying foreign words in a soft whisper and looked as if she was dreaming with her eyes closed and moving rapidly as if looking at something.

She opened her eyes and said "The fetus is doing great and is growing at the rate we had predicted, The fetus is now about 2.5 inches (6cm) length and weighs about 0.7 ounce (20 g).
The feet are almost half an inch (1cm) long.
The fetus starts moving spontaneously.
The face is beginning to look like a baby's face.
The pancreas is functioning and producing insulin.
Fingernails and toenails appear.
The baby can suck his thumb, and get hiccups." Bellona said looking at us them moving to a pile of old leather bound books on her table and then telling us.

"Since you are 3 months pregnant you can now hear your babies heart beat" Bellona grabbed my hand and I grabbed Stefan's in my other while she touched my stomach and and instead of whispering words she started humming a soft lullaby and all of a sudden I heard a heart beat I looked at Stefan and we both held the same look of amazement on our faces.

And all of a sudden our moment of happiness ended. There was a loud crash in the front room like the sound of a door breaking.
