*sigh* I wondered around central bored not knowing what to do with my spare time before Hughes needed me for anything. I suddenly got hit by the sweet aroma of pies that trailed from a small bakery that had its door propped open with a sweet middle-aged woman greeting one of her customers. 'She seems pretty nice' I  thought as I walked closer towards the sweet scent of dough and fruits baking

'God, those pies smell so good! Maybe I'll buy one for Hughes when he takes a break from all his work it's like he never stops working' I let out a small chuckle to myself as I approached the steps to the middle-aged woman as she turned and looked at me while greeting me with a warm smile.

"Hello young miss, please do come in and try one of our pies! Maybe you would fancy an apple pie" that sounded so good right now and I bet Hughes would love it too "Yes ma'am, they do smell amazing and I would love to try one!" I said while returning the smile. I walked inside and towards the counter and pointed at an apple pie  and blueberry one as the man behind the counter approached me giving me the same warm smile the lady at the door did

"Excuse me sir? May I please get one apple pie and one blueberry one?" I said pointing at the two 'maybe I'll try a different flavor today' "Sure thing miss" he said as he grabbed out two brown boxes and went towards the ovens and took out one of the blueberry pies and one apple one and gently placed them in the box then walked back towards the counter and handed them to me "Here you are miss!" He told me "Thank you!" I said to him as I placed the money in his hand and walked back towards the command center.

I shifted the boxes slightly and knocked on Hughes door "Hughes?" I called out, the door opened and there stood the man that raised me for the past two years with a big grin on his face as he slightly drooled "Y/n! How many times have I told you that you can just call me dad? And is that a pie I smell?" He asked as I simply giggled, "Alright fine, yes dad they are pies and I got an apple one just for you I know you like Grac-" I was cut off as he took the pies and went back to his desk and sat down and started to tear into the apple pie "fank fu sweefie for fa pie" he said while having a mouthful of food I laughed at his response and sat in the chair across from him and grabbed my pie and fork and started to eat it. 'This is seriously the best frickin blueberry pie I have ever tasted in my life I thought as the delicious pastry melted on my tounge as I chewed it then swallowed.

"So did you need anything?" I asked as he cleared his throat "Actually I do" he replied "Alright, what is it then?" "There is a certain boy and his brother going off to a little eastern frontier town of Reole they seem to be looking for a cure or something to undo their automail" He said while taking another large bite of his pie.

"Reole? Never heard of it" I mumbled while poking at a blueberry "Yeah, it's kind of a small town out there in the desert not surprising that you haven't really heard of it" Hughes stated "huh, why's that?" I asked stop looking at the blueberry "it's a simple small town just like I said"

"Hmm, well I guess I'll go with them. Are they in Roy's office or something?" I said while finishing off the last of my pie then stood up "Yea you can go ahead in there if you want let him know I said hi" Hughes said while smiling "I will dad" I told him as I walked towards him giving him a hug as he kissed the top of my head before I walked out closing the doors behind me then heading off towards Roy's office

*knock knock knock*

"Come in" I heard Roy's tired voice say
