This is my first time writing angst, so it might be too depressing and short qwq hope you enjoy~!

You had long adored him.

You knew he's an exorcist, and you knew he despises supernaturals.

But, you couldn't help liking him.

He's Minamoto Teru.

You've seen how great his grades are, how his handsome face won everybody's heart, and how he manages to be the student council president.

You haven't tried talking to him yet, but you'll always find him wherever he is.

Like now.

Teru should be having a student council meeting in a few minutes, with that so you decided to follow him down the empty hall.

After a few minutes of walking, Teru stops, turning back. Scared of getting caught, you hid behind the wall.

"I know you're there."

A loud clang is heard, you peeked at Teru to see him carrying his sword with him. Your heart aches a bit, but you decided to be blunt.

"U-um, M-Minamoto-san..."

He seem pissed, lifting his sword in front of his face. "Quit acting nice, I know you meant harm." He slightly charges his sword. "Whatever is your unfinished business, quit it. The dead cannot be lived anymore."

Those words stabbed your heart, but you won't give up. "Mi-Minamoto-san! Please, listen-"

"[L/N]-san. You enjoy [Insert Rumor cos I'm dumb :v], something unforgivable. A bunch has been complaining about you." He unleashes his bracelet and beans starts to strangle you.

You don't dare to fight back, but you can't bear the pain in your heart. Teru looks at you in an undefined expression.

Huh... right, we live in different worlds, after all.

Teru ran and knocked you backwards with spite in his eyes. You didn't resist.

You look up with despair in your eyes.

Well, seems like you're going to the afterlife.

"For how long have you been in the Near Shore... I shall end it quicker, since you seem to be a weak female."

What were you even thinking? Liking a human, furthermore an exorcist.

Teru lifted his sword up high.

All of your memories and thoughts swept by your eyes.
How could you be so stupid? You had your eyes to the perfect Minamoto Teru only. You tried ignoring your own rumors just so you can see Teru everyday.

You became quieter and ignoring every other school mysteries, even misbehaving before No.7-sama. You rejected friendship for your crush who hates you.

dumb weaklings like me deserves to perish.

Teru lowers his sword.

You heard No. 1's young boy and Kou, Teru's younger brother running after him. It was all a blur for you, though.

You smiled.

Your [E/C] drops tears.

"I just want to say I love you, Minamoto-kun."
