As I was walking through the hall, past all these people I used to know, I thought about how so many things had changed, and yet, they remained so similar.

"Hey! New kid!"

I looked up to see another student motioning me to come over.

"Hi?" I asked.

"Hello! My name is Emily. I was wondering if you wanted me to explain who everyone was?"

"I'm Mars and that would be delightful. Thanks."

"No problem! Glad to help."

"That's Maddie Gonson over there. She and her twin Max practically run the school social hierarchy. They are spoiled af. And you don't wanna mess with them,"

Emily paused to take a breath.

"They are super rich, and even have a private yacht from what I've heard. She is not a good person! She's like, Satan but in high school."

"Oh no! She's coming! See you later!" Emily exclaimed before running off.

I watched her run for a few seconds before turning to see what Maddie looked like.

"Ugh! Move out of the way!" Shouted the blond as she strutted down the hall. "Sorry! I didnt know I was in your way." Squeaked a younger student, ducking away from her.

"Ha! You think sorry is good enough." Maddie paused to look at the sheer terror on the girls face before continuing on to say, "Give me that lilac-rose necklace of yours and I'll accept it!"

"B-but! My Mother g-gave it to me!"

"Well I want it so you have three days to give it to me."

At this point I had had enough of just watching from the sidelines. So I decided to step in.

"So you're Maddie." I asked calmly while facing the supposed teenaged reincarnation of Satan himself.

"Well look who we have here. Another Four-eyes." She said with a laugh. Her left hand on her hip.

"You know what, it seems you're as rude as people say you are." I said, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Oh really", she laughed before continuing, " Come on Four-Eyes, you've gotta have a better comeback than that!"

"Say's the one calling me Four-Eyes."

"Whatever! Your voice is annoying anyway." She retorted, walking away.

"Are you okay?" I asked the younger girl.

"U-um! Yeah I guess, thanks for standing up for me." She squeaked before running off to class.

Class, I better head there too so I'm not late. I thought as I checked where my classes were on my timetable.

I'm surprised she didn't recognize me after all this time. Oh well, either way, revenge for what she and her family has done will come.
Piece. By. Piece.
I'll make sure of it.
