Jacqueline Rose's POV
I was walking in a field. A beautiful field of roses. I felt at peace. I felt happy. But suddenly I felt disturbed as dark clouds rolled in and the flowers seemed to die around me. Wake up. I heard. Wake up Rose. You're dreaming. It's just a dream. I knew that voice, it belonged to my mother. Suddenly I felt a hand on my face face and looked foamed to see her. She smiled softly at me and kissed my forehead before speaking once more. Wake up my child. She said and suddenly the whole scene faded.
My eyes shot open as I looked straight up at the ceiling only to see my Aunt Rebekah with her hand on my cheek.
"Finally you woke up. You were having another nightmare." She said as stepped back from her hovering spot above me.
I sighed slowly sitting up as she brushed my hair with my fingers.
"Yeah, I don't know why I'm getting them every night now." I explained pushing the covers off me as I slide out the bed.
"You're probably just stressing about what's going on back home" she said as she picked up Hope from her crib.
Smiling I looked at my baby cousin. She was so tiny!
Hope and I having been living with Aunt Rebekah while dad and uncle Klaus solve the problems back home. They apparently faked our deaths infront of the city and have been keeping up with the story since. I wish I could've stayed there so I could help! I'm probably one of the only witches they can trust in that city. Davina is obviously hiding something and the New Orleans witches hate their guts. So why send me away? They keep treating me like I'm a kid....okay well technically I am but that's besides the point. I'm perfectly capable of protecting myself and they should know that!
"Rose!" Aunt Rebekahs voice snapped me out of my trance as I saw her stomping out a small teddy bear that was on fire but it wouldn't go out. A small gasped escaped my lips as I quickly flicked my wrist and it went out.
"S-sorry I didn't mean to" I stuttered out as she put Hope in her cribbed and picked up the now charcoal bear.
"It's fine" she said throwing it away "But what could you possible have been thinking of to make you so angry?" she asked me as she picked Hope up once again and walked into the living room to feed her.
"I uh. I was just mad that I'm not back home ya know..to help" I explained as I sat down next to her
She let out a sigh rocking Hope lightly as she fed her.
"You've got to understand that it's was for your safety. We've got a lot of enemies and they will use you and Hope against us. They've got to make it safe for you both" she said to me as she burped Hope and continued to hold her.
I sat there silently watching the two as I thought I've react she said. I knew she was right, but I still felt useless all the way out here while they are in New Orleans dealing with who knows what one their own. But I guess I just have to deal with it.
Hopefully I'll see them soon...What do you guys think of her dream at the beginning?
Do you think it means something?
Sorry for the short filler! I just really wanted to update-KK😘
