Tom didn't see Tord for another few days, which was normal. I mean maybe he was just busy? Probably. Still, Tom was worried.
What if he didn't take the Terisia again?
What if he's in hospital?
What if he just doesn't want to hang out with me?
What if-Tom's thoughts were interupted by a knock at the door. Tom, hoping if was Tord, sprinted downstairs to open it. Tom opened the door, but he didn't recognise the figure in front of him.
"Um... hi- sir?" Tom was extremly confused at why the man was at his house. He wore a plain black shirt with casual grey pants. The man was fairly large and looked angry.
"Are you Tom?" The man huffed. He had a strong Norwegian accent, stronger than Tords.
"Y-yes" Tom stumbled for words, realising who it must be. Tords father.
The man yanked on Tom's arm, forcing him outside with him. His blue hoodie was stretched oit the door. The man let go, pushing Tom onto the ground. His breath stunk of alchole. Tom cowered backwards, slightly more away from the slightly drunk man, the scared teenager whipped his head towards the door to see if his mum was going to help him. She wasn't there. Of course, she just had to work late today of all days. The man bent down, grabbing a glass bottle, which he had presumably dropped earlier, and swung his arm at Tom. Luckily the boy stood up and ran away before it could hit him. He didn't know where he was running. He was just running. After a few seconds Tom turned back to see if the man was following him.
He'd left Tom's house.
Tom still didn't think it was safe to go home yet, so he just ran to the park. The one where he first saw Tord. Tom sat on a bench (chair thing idk) and pulled his phone out of his pocket. Every few seconds he looked up to see if the man was following him. Tom messaged his mumMum i think someone just tried to kill me
Tom wasn't the best at explaining things.
The vagueness of that text freaked his mum out.Tom, i'm coming home right now! Where are you?
The park
Okay
They had a short conversation, before Tom saw his mum's car park in the drive through.
Tom walked back to his house, fiddeling with his fingers and hoodie strings.
His mum walked in too.
Nothing inside their house was broken, and it didn't look like he'd actually come inside the house. But still. Now he knew where they lived.Lé time SKEEEEP
A week had passed since Tom had seen Tord and 4 days since "the incident" with the man happened. He was still worried, but more about if that man would come back. Tom still wasn't sure if that man was Tord's father, but that didn't make him any less worried about Tord as well.
Tom heard knocking at one of the doors again. His mum was at work again, so Tom hesitantly, slowly opened the door. To his suprise, there was Tord!... but.... somethimg was wrong... his left eye look pale, almost purple, his yellow cardigan in his hands instead of over his red hoodie. Tears rolled down his scratched up, bleeding cheeks. He was wearing black shorts again, but his legs were cut as well. Tom was horrified.
"Oh my god! Tord, what happened!?"
The only reply Tom got was, Tord crying even more, his head faced downwards to Tom's feet. The boy in blue helped Tord to the couch.
There was a slow pause.
"Tord... who-" Tom started
"M-my dad..." Tord stammered, almost prooving the man was Tord's father.
"He-he doesn't normally drink... I think he was just mad at me..." Tord continued.
"Why...?"
"Because... because I kissed you..." Tord mumbled, turning away from Tom.
"How did he know?"
"...I told him... he's normally fine if I kiss someone... I guess i've never kissed a boy before... maybe..." Tord admitted. There was another slow pause.
Tom didn't want to tell Tord that his dad had come to his house. Not just because
He didn't know how. But because, knowing Tord, he would've done something crazy...
