"Parkinson, wait!" Harry hissed in whispering voice, he immediately grasped the girl wrist before she could run away from him again.
The 8th year common room was empty, it was very late and everyone had already gone to bed inside their private room.
"Stop!" She hissed back at him. "It was a mistake." She struggled to free herself from him.
Harry released her wrist and held both of her arms instead, brought her closer to him. "Liar." His green eyes bored into her hazel eyes. Pansy shuddered under his gaze. "Stop lying Pansy, stop lying to me and to yourself."
"I didn't lied." She turned her face from looking at him.
"Then... look at me and say it to my face." He dared her. "Look into my eyes and say it that you didn't feel the same way as I did."
The girl just shut her eyes and shook her head. "Stop it please, it doesn't matter how I felt. You're a war hero and I'm the girl— the one that want to handed you to the—
"I don't care about that." He cut her words. "It was all in the past. I want you." He said desperately.
Her eyes wide open as he said that. "I really like you." Harry whispered to her ear. "That kiss was not a mistake Pansy."
"Harry—
They both flinched when they heard a noise coming from the portrait door. Harry quickly disillusioned themselves before he grabbed Pansy and hiding in the dark place. They both stayed quiet as the door swung open and two figures walked in.
It was Hermione and Draco, Harry frowned at the sight. They were supposed to finish their patrolled round an hour ago.
"Granger." Harry watched as Malfoy called her name gently. Too gentle and it surprised him. "Don't go inside yet."
Hermione rolled her eyes at him. "Draco, it's late. We got charms tomorrow morning."
"Can't you stop thinking about class for a moment and only focus on us first?" He groaned in frustration. Hermione sighed and looked at him weakly.
"Draco," she said "It's not like I didn't think about us but I need some time. This is not just about us—
"It's because of Weasley and Potter isn't it?" He scoffed. "This is your life Hermione, you deserve to be happy too."
Hermione reached for his hands, holding it gently to her chest. "I know that but they are important to me. You are important to me too but these feelings are still new."
"It's not new to me." He mumbled. "I've been denying this feeling for my whole life, and I can't deny it anymore. I love you. I really love you." He cupped both of her cheeks and kiss her. Passionately.
Harry looked away and then he realized that he was still holding Pansy's hand. He smiled and squeezed her hand. Just maybe, maybe there will be a chance for Pansy and him too.
