(Note: Inspired by my novel Not All Ravens Have Black Feathers and possible "theme song.")
Looking at the burning sun
Shining on the people spent
You'd never guess they are
The beginning of the end
Sometimes it's when you're down
You learn how to fight
It's when you fall
You learn how to fly
So if you back me to a corner
And you value your life
You better watch out
Because I might bite
Ooooh, starting a revolution.
Ooooo, a new kind of evolution.
Blood, sweat, and tears
Threaten to close our eyes.
But put aside all your fears
And together we'll rise.
Sometimes it's when you're done
You learn how to be
It's when you're caged
You learn how to free
So if you back me to a corner
And you value your life
You better watch out
Because I might bite
Ooooh, starting a revolution.
Ooooo, a new kind of evolution.
Gotta bone to pick
But these vultures here
Just wanna pick my bones
Look how they stare
Oh, but little do they know
When the tension runs high
Blood runs cold
Sometimes it's when you die
You learn to survive
It's when you're scarred
You know how to thrive
So if you back me to a corner
And you value your life
You better watch out
Because I might bite
Ooooh, starting a revolution.
Ooooo, a new kind of evolution.
Aaahhh, can feel it in my bones.
Starting a revolution
Tomorrow's a new home.
