Zira's POV
Crowley and I sat in the backroom of my shop, talking about really anything, when the bell over the door rang and signalized a customer. Soon, we also heard two voices. "Oh, Come on, Lala! The shop really has a great range of books!" "Luan, I don't knowww... I don't want to be home too late..." The serpent gave me a look as if to dare me to go to the main room, so I stood up with a sigh and went to watch my precious books so they won't get hurt... Or damaged for this matter. But as I entered the shop area, I saw two girls, around 23 years old. One of them had almost waist long, brown-blond hair in a ponytail and wore a red tartan bluse tied above her stomach, with blue jeans and white sneakers, together all balanced with a gray cap with some Little alpakas on it on top of her head. The other girl had shoulder long, purple-blue hair. She wore a black hoodie with some patches on it, as well as some black ripped skinny jeans and black-red boots. She also wore a cap, hers was White and cyan, and the peak of it was out of cork, and in the front were big the words "2 Words, 1 Finger" painted on it. The girls turned to me and the girl in black spoke up. "Oh, hullo. You have to be the owner, right?" I smiled back at her. "Yes, I am Mr. Fell. Can I help you somehow?" "Oh no" the girl in my favourite pattern said. "We're already on our way out" She took her friend by the arm, but the other girl made an effort to stay, and asked "By the way, sir, is this your bentley in front of the door?" Like he has never been else where, Crowley stood next to me and grinnen. "In fact, it's mine, you wanna see it?" The girl in black jumped up and down excitedly. "Really?? I'd love to!" Crrowley- still grining- took her by the arm and talked with her about his car, while her friend just stood there a bit like a lost puppy. She smiled atme and gave me a somewhat shy smile, then she wnt after thedemon and the other girl.
Some time later- I went back to drink my tea and read my book- , all three enter again, the Serpent and the purple haired girl talked about... Something? When I entered the shop once again this noon, I saw that the natural- color haired girl just looked kind of left out,but not bothered by it, more happy for her friend. Crowley cleared his throat. "So, you gonna invite them for tea, angel?" I blinked, a bit confused by the sympathic tone in the serpent's voice, but smile anyways. "Of course! Come in, sit down. You want some tea? Oh, and coffee for Cr- Anthony of course! What would you two like?" I smiled at the girls, and as the taller one in tartan smiled back at me, I felt my face getting a bit hot, just slightly though. "You don't have apple- date-fig tea, do you?" she asked shyly, and I glowed up in amazement and nodded, then I turned to the other one. "I have some black tea please." "I take some coffee -as bitter as my soul", the serpent said without being questioned, and I obeyed and guided them to the tea table.
As I went to the kitchen to boil the water, I heard Crowley. "What are your names by the way?" I turned to them to listen the conversation. The girl in Black began. "Of course! I am Luan. And this is my cousin Lara, I call her Lala though." She giggled a bit. "And your names are..?" Crowley smiled. "I am Anthony, but the angel over there often calls me by my lastname, Crowley" They turned to me, and I smiled at them, especially Lara. "I am Zira, but as you may notice, Anthony often calls me angel. But I call him serpent a lot, too, so it's mutual" Lara smiled and whispered something in her cousin's ear, and I didn't understand it, but Crowley seemed to, because he began laughing. "I swear to g- sa- Someone, No! Why does everyone think we're dating, ang- " he interupted himself, as realization hit him. "Oh... yeah... Right..." The girls started laughing again, while I poured the now boiling water in four cups, three with tea bags in them, and some instant coffee in the last one, I wasn't really used to making it. I put three pieces of sugar in my tea, and five in the coffee with some cream, then i brought everything to the table with some biscuits, and milk and sugar in case anyone waned some, sitting down next to the demon, and also sitting opposite of Lara.
I gave Luan and Lara their tea, and Crowley got his coffee last. He looks at me a bit angrily. "Why is it with cream?" He tasted it. "And sugar. I said as dark and bitter as my soul..." I shrugged. "You like to play hard and evil, but by heart, you are, just a tad, a good person." I told him, he just turned away from me and back to the girls. "Soo... Why don't you tell us something about you? Why are so pretty girls like you in a bookshop that doesn't even sell most books?" Luan giggled again. She giggled a lot... "Well, we were in the city and I know the shop for a bit now, but I never really dared to come inside, people say there is a snake crawling around in here. I'm not afraid of snakes, but I like to know if they are poisonious or not." Lara took the oppertuinity of her cousin breathing and spoke up. "Well, the 'about us' part, right? Like I said, I am Lara, and... I like alpacas... And tea... I write a bit, most the time about friends of mine. And I almost always listen to Luan if they babble about Musicals... Pretty anoying sometimes, but berable and somtimes really interesting." I smiled at her. She was a good person, I could sense it. Not one of the 'I don't give a fish' kind, but also not the 'I only like you if you do what I say' type. She seamed caring, and always looked at the others first, but also kind of shy if she was uncomfortable. But that's just a first impression, I could be totally wrong...
