Hello this is the beginning of my book when I do come to write it it will start differently but because this is a short start I want to see if anyone will like it . Please comment and rate me please. :-)
"Hello is this a relative of tam Duncan " yes I am his daughter "may I ask why" "well it's just ..........." There was a long pause " he was recently found in his lone ward he had passed away " "oh errr your sure its my dad" " yes we are sure Hun I am so sorry " " well okay" I said really not bothered what had happened to that scum bag "don't u want to see him or identify him " asked the nurse "nope " I said now getting angry you see I didn't want anyone finding out I was alone in our 4 bedroom house .
Well I wasn't alone I was with my little brother Baxter who is nine and my little sister bliss Who is 3 we could survive on our own
we didn't need some poxy adult to cook and clean and do all the boring jobs
"Excuse me madam but how old are you " said the nosy nurse curiously . "I am 16 years of age " I said very cautiously because really I was telling a lie I was 13 years old and had no mum she walked out on us when bliss was born . " okay and is your mum there so I could explain this to her " he said "no she is not and I am old enough to understand and look after myself my mum walked out on me when I was 10 and left me with my dad " "is there anything bloody else you want to know because I think you are being to nosy so why don't you go do your stupid bloody job instead of snooping around at blooming my life " and with that I slammed the phone down.
I know I shouldn't have shouted at that nurse like that I know he was just trying to help but help is one thing we don't need . You see I lose my temper very easily I can't help it its my nature the way my dad used to loose his temper that's when he hit me when he lost his temper I was his living sound making punch bag and there was nothing I could do he was a big strong man , and I I was a small teenage girl scared to death of what his next actions would be .
The story before mum walked out !!
Before mum walked out on us dad was fine he was a happy man he never ever ever got mad . He had never lifted his hand once to any of us (including mum) I Had actually never seen dads bad side .
I remember it all quite clearly mum had just brought bliss home she was stressed dad picked her up from hospital when mum came in the door Baxter only being six and not realising how tired mum would have been , was all over her she shouted at him "BAXTER leave me alone can't you see I am tired " Baxter started "to cry I told him to go upstairs to bed" because his bedtime was seven and it was eight o'clock .
I was aloud to stay up till nine nine thirty ish and when I was told to go brush my teeth and get my pyjamas on I did I when back downstairs i gave dad a kiss on the cheek and said loved him very ,much then I turned to mum . She stuck her hand up "no I don't want a kiss and a cuddle " she said blankly " you are getting to old now and it's silly doing this every night " I stared at her my mum had never reacted like that towards me before I said " but mum you always gomon about routines and my routine is to give you and dad Both a kiss and cuddle after my teeth are brushed and I have got my pyjamas on " I stared at her . It was like she was staring right through me .
"Mum mum mum answer me do you here MUUUUUUUUUMM " she simply stood up gave bliss to dad and said bye i am leaving and am not coming back I love you all but can't do this anymore , I whatched my own mum walk out the front door known she was never coming back and knowing there was nothing for me to do but whatch and cherish the last few moments we had altogether .
That's when dad turned nasty !
