chapter 9: fight for her

Third person

Tachiki leaped toward Ren and started biting into his arm clawing his back open causing Ren to stumble backwards and fall down. Tachiki started punching him in the face, Ren took a few hits before kicking Tachiki off throwing him back inside breaking the door in the process. Ren jumped in top of Tachiki and pinned him down using his claws to rip out a piece of wing. Tachiki howled out in pain and managed to get out from underneath Ren. Tachiki tried to reach the butcher knife when a loud screech was heard, both of the men looked at the source where the sound came from and saw Kiana standing there a dark shade covering her eyes. Ren instantly backed up and hid behind the couch, Tachiki just laughed Ren in the face "you're afraid of a small g-" his sentence was cut off by a forceful push and he was blown into the kitchen. His head banged against the counter and he was knocked out.

Ren's POV

When I saw Kiana stand in the doorway I hurried to get out of her path with a smirk. Hearing Tachiki throw a remark didn't bother me anymore when Kiana used her power, she used an energy ball to throw him in the kitchen. As soon as he closed his eyes we heard a scream, I looked at Kiana and we ran upstairs finding (Y/N) backed up against the wall terrified her mouth covered in blood and pieces of meat. Kiana rushed over to her and hugged her while I looked into the room. What I saw was horrible enough to make my guts turn.

The whole room was drenched in a smell of rotting meat, the walls covered in guts and skin from other demons and animals. In the middle a twitching, barely alive, deer slowly bleeding to death chunks of flesh missing from its stomach, it's guts spilling out. I looked at (Y/N) and I saw a piece of deerskin on her arm. "Y-you ate it didn't you?" She nodded softly and I felt like I was about to throw up.

Time skip to the hotel

(Y/N)'s POV

It was later in the evening when we arrived back at the hotel. As soon as we stepped inside (Ren first Kiana second and (Y/N) last) I heart a scream and I felt myself being thrown onto the floor. I felt something wrap it's arms around me and push my head into something fluffy, I tried to squirm away but the thing wouldn't let me. I slightly pushed him off of me and noticed it was angel in tears and sobbing. "What's wro-" I couldn't finish my sentence because of angel pushing me back in his chest fluff. "I was so worried about you! What happened?" He asked between hiccups. I sighed and explained that Tachiki took me under control. A few hours after talking to everyone and being showered in hugs I finally was able to go to my room to process myself what happened.

 "Why would be so such a thing?" I asked my reflection "I know I left him but why?" I sighed and let myself fall into the fluffy bed covers. I just fell asleep when someone knocked on my door, I groaned and yelled "it's open!" I heard the door open and close and footsteps nearing. I felt something heavy sink in on both sides and I opened my eyes seeing Angel hovering above me, his arms pinning me down. He smirked and leaned in closer whispering into my ear. "You got me worried doll. Don't run off like that again." He growled softly and suddenly wrapped both his upper arms around me nuzzling into my neck. I tensed up but accepted the hug, smiling softly and slowly fell asleep in his arms.
