Chapter four:
"Siwon can't we just go home?" Yeonsu whined. After half an hour of travel and atleast ten minutes of walking, they finally arrived at their destination. Standing infront of the old playground, the memories on that place started to flashback within Yeonsu's eyes in which made her fell into silence.
Siwon smiled at the same time seeing her like that. He wanted to remind her the memories they created and how it is slowly fading away because of their unsettled matters since the time they had the wife-husband relationship.
"Remember this place?" He finally said, breaking the silence between them.
"Ofcourse, how could i forget?" Yeonsu finally smiled as she recall her memories.
-Flashback-
A Freshman middle school student named Choi Siwon passed by at a playground. He was walking by when he stopped after he heard a sound of a girl crying. As he wander his eyes around as to where the sound might come from, he cornered a girl crying while sitting on a swing. She doesn't seem too young, maybe atleast his age. Having thoughts that maybe the girl might have been lost or something, he quickly approached her.
"Why are you crying? Are you lost or something?" The girl just stared at her.
"W-w-will y-you push m-me on t-the s-swing?" The girl stuttered and continued to sob. Siwon was abit confused but without any hesitation, he went to the back of the swing and pushed her up and down just like she asked. He tried to surpress his laughter, knowing how childish her reason for crying is.
Later, the girl started to smile and giggle. Seeing this, Siwon felt a little bit of relief in his heart.
"Don't cry again okay? Next time when you need someone to push you on this swing just tell me and i'd gladly do it. I promise." Siwon said to her and smiled, offering his pinky on her as a sign of promise, she curled hers and said, "Okay."
----
"You know, even until now, i still can't over the fact that you cried because no ones there to push you on the swing." He continued, "Doesn't that seem to.. shallow of a reason is?" Siwon asked, turning at her.
"Stupid!" She chuckled, "You know, from that time, i was really curious why you didn't asked about that. and right now, i realized that though we knew each other for too long now, you never really paid attention to some small but important details about me." Siwon fell silence after what she said. It was indeed true. He only knew her by what she would tell him and not really bother to ask her. He never questioned and so she never tell.
She tilted up her head to face him and sadly smiled, "It was because my brother died." Siwon's eyes widened in surprise. He never knew that she had a brother. He thought that she was an only child.
"When you saw me crying back then, It was after my brother was pronounced dead from his two weeks coma. I ran at that playground because i don't want the people around me to worry, especially my parents. And so i cried my heart out at this place."
"Y-your brother?" He found himself asking. She answered him with a nod. "Why did he die?"
"W-w-well, that is.." She sighed, "He was murdered."
"W-why?" he knew it was a kind of rude to ask her about it since it was one bad memory to recall, but he wanted to know. the last time he checked, she is still his wife, right? so it might not be a crime to ask personal things to his wife.
