Ch.1 The Accident

The Cullen's were sitting in the living room when Alice got a vision of a girl with neon green hair cuddling with all of them. Esme asked "what'd you see, Alice?" making her everyone look at her and Alice replied "a girl with neon green hair is our shared mate." Jasper asked "Alice, what do you mean?" making Alice said "we are all mated to the girl" and Rosalie asked her "do you know her name?" Alice nodded saying "yes, but it's strange" and Carlisle sighed "her name, Alice" making Alice say "her name is Joker." Emmett questioned "like Batman's enemy?" making Alice nod her head and Rosalie asked Alice "where's she going to sleep?" Carlisle said "anywhere she wants to" as Esme grabs a book from the bookshelf and sits in Carlisle's lap reading as the others talk. Carlisle wraps his arms around Esme's waist and places a kiss on her neck. The next day, Joker arrived at Forks high school on a motorcycle and parked in a handicap spot. The Cullen's looked at her in confusion but it soon turned into sadness when they saw her prosthetic leg and arm. Joker went to the office to get her schedule and locker combination. When she got to class, the teacher introduced himself and gave her a book for the class then told her to sit in between Rosalie and Emmett in the back of the class room. As the class went on, Rosalie and Emmett snuck a few glances towards the girl without her noticing. When the class ended, Joker went to her locker to put her text book away and went to her next class. Joker went to her classes not talking to anyone when the Cullens decided to talk to her at lunch. At lunch, Joker sat alone in the corner when she saw a lunch tray on the table. When the day was over, Joker walked towards her motorcycle when Alice approached her. Alice asked " you're Joker, right?" making Joker nod and Alice said "you don't talk much do you?" Joker shook her head making the pixie-like teen say "that's alright" and Joker walked past her. Joker got on her motorcycle and left Alice standing there with a frown on her face. Alice walked back to her family saying "I guess she doesn't like me very much." A month later, Joker was waiting by her locker after placing single red roses in Alice, Rosalie, and Bella's lockers. Joker started walking towards them passing by and smiled when she saw them holding the roses. The three vampires looked at each other then at Joker's retreating figure and smiled. At lunch, Joker was sitting by herself while Alice, Rosalie, and Bella told their s/o about the roses. The guys looked at Joker shocked and decided to do something for her. When school was over, Joker walked towards her motorcycle when she was hit by Jessica Stanley's Toyota Prius. Everyone in the parking lot ran towards her and Angela Webber called an ambulance. The Cullens ran towards her as Rosalie pushed through the crowd and placed Joker's head on her lap. Everyone was shocked at her actions but didn't question her or say anything and Rosalie said "who's responsible for this?" Mike Newton replied "it was Jessica Stanley" making Rosalie glare at Jessica saying "why would you hit her with your car?" Jessica said "she's nothing but a whore and a slut" and Bella said "no, Jessica, that's you." Once the ambulance arrives, the medics placed Joker on the gurney and takes her to the hospital. When the ambulance arrived at the hospital, Dr. Cullen met the with the medics to help them. Dr. Cullen asked "what happened?" and the medic replied "she was hit by another student's car." Joker was taken to surgery immediately to fix her ruptured spleen and after two hours, her surgery was successful. Dr. Cullen had a nurse take Joker to room 113, the room right next to his office, and told her to go to lunch. He went to check on Joker and saw her awake saying "hello Joker" making her reply "where am I?" Dr. Cullen said "you're in the hospital, do you know what happened?" and she responded with "no, I don't." He told her "you were hit by another student's car" and she replied "how long do I have to stay here?" He told her "about a month" making her sigh and say "thank you, doctor" as he smiles at her. A month later, Joker was released from the hospital and Dr. Cullen said "I'd like you to come back in a month to check on your stitches, okay?"
