choose your own fate (hunterxhunter fan fic)

chapter 1

It was a cold, dark, snowy, night in York new city. I was brought here by my captors whom blind folded me all I had on were freshly washed black undergarments the only thing that was keeping me from freezing was a thin red silk sheet that was loosely framing my body and was held in place by a semi tight ribbon that was tied around my neck. I had a thick black lace blindfold around my eyes. I was chained down by my hands in a cage. I was in the back of a van. It's been about an hour since we started driving. When all of the sudden the van came to a quick halt causing me to hit my forehead on the bars of the cage. I could hear the passenger and driver door open. I could hear my captors scream but their begging was short lived. I knew they were dead. I could hear quite a few people getting into the van and driving away at fast speeds. They started to talk-

"Boss did you get the treasure back?" A deep voice said. 

"Are you underestimating your boss?" A female voice said.

"No no just curious" the Male said again

Then the feeling of the sacred disappearing sneeze came over me. I breathed in a few times and sneezed a high pitched sneeze almost like a panda. And that was the moment I regretted it-

"What was that?" A happier Male voice said. 

The van came to a stop as I could feel everyone shift their gaze to the back of the van at me, they all got out and picked up the cage I was in after a few steps the cage was lightly set back down on the floor.

"Now let's see what this is all about" a booming voice said. In seconds I could hear the tarp being pulled off the top of the cage I was in there were a few gasps, I instantly started to shake a bit due to the now even colder air warping around my body. I could now just barely see through the lace blind fold there was a very tall muscular man right beside me holding the tarp he kneeled down to me staring he looked at the lock on the door and crushed it with his hands then ripped the door off its hinges. I tried to buck up a bit but was held in place by the overly tight chains wrapped around my wrists, he noticed my uneasiness and halted.  

"Quit being a baby" he said as he began to reach for my face again, I tightly shut my eyes and waited for the pain to come but instead all I felt was the chains being broken and the blind fold being ripped off my head, I opened my eyes wide out of shock and confusion while I stared at him-

"Whatcha looking at me like that for? You didn't give me a reason to want to hurt ya so I didnt" he said as he patted my head. I touched the top of my head in surprise and then started to rub my wrists. I noticed the man reaching back in to pull me out, I backed up a bit making it difficult to reach me but he got me anyways holding me in one of his arms he starred along with everyone else I thought as myself to be more on the average looking side compared to my sisters but here in this country I was apparently  'the most beautiful' or so said my captors, I had long curly wild silver hair that glistened in the moonlight, with medium pink rose petal lips, and big sharp deep blue eyes that sparkled with emotion, and pale skin that made me look sick. 

"Boss what should we do with her?"

"Hmmmm……" the leader I assumed looked up from his book a bit alarmed by seeing me 

"What's your name?" I just stared at him with scared eyes but answered slowly… I can understand what they are saying but their language is hard to speak. But he waited listening patiently-

"Ku….mo…… Fu….yu" I said piecing together the syllables as I went. He stared at me then spoke-

"the winter spider……. What a lovely name. I'll give you the choice of staying with us or…… death" he said looking straight into my eyes. I looked up at the man holding me and he had a stern expression on his face but his eyes were smiling telling me that I could trust them for some reason. I shook my head yes and the leader chuckled slightly- 

"Does that mean your joining us?" I lightly nodded again well then Kumo why dont you tell us a bit about yourself?" The man said as he closed his book, the man holding me sat down and placed me in his lap. 'How can someone be so big, I'm a dwarf compared to him!' I thought to myself. I quickly came back to the question at hand and slowly answered- 

"What.. you want...know" I said softly and the man holding me started to laugh- 

"Let's start with where you are from since it sounds like you can barely speak our language" he said wiping away a small tear. I looked down a mix of emotions surrounding me anger, hate, sadness. I clenched my fists-

"It's called clouds landing….. big beautiful landscape and a loving kingdom……. My home….destroyed …..by evil gang…. Gang sought out the crown off my head….. they massacred my family and took my crown then sold off"

The man holding me had quit chuckling and looked at me with pity I stared back at him angrily-

"Me need no pity….. me will become stronger and kill them slowly till they beg for me to end it for them………. "

I felt a large hand atop my head I looked back up to see the same man smiling kindly It was my turn to ask a question-

"You…. Name" I said as I poked the man in the cheek. He looked surprised but then laughed at me again -

"Its uvogin but you can call me uvo."
That's when everyone went around introducing themselves. Another question was asked-

"Ne, kumo how old are you?" Shnarlak said with a grin .

"I'm 12" he looked at me shocked

"12!? And you were going to be crowned!"

"Where me come from you are ranked by power and intellect!......I ranked 100 points higher in nen energy then the rest of my siblings and I ranked 200 points higher than them in intellect. Therefore I was deemed fit for queen" i said picking up on their language the more we talked.

"So kumo what is your nen ability?" Hisoka asked curiously 

"I call it the spirit medium…. I am able to allow people who have passed possess my body and I can use their powers. I also have a Death-defier. I can absorb deadly blows and push them back at my target last but not least I have a memory swipe…. Those ones are pretty self explanatory." I said perfectly
