Chapter 8

Nina's POV

The next day was a little better. I got to actually sit bye Fabian in class but Joy wasn't happy and she would always take him away from me when we were talking about important things. Maybe Amber is right. Maybe I should have a talk with her! After class I went into the common room or the drama room and saw her sitting on the couch reading. No one else was in there except for her so I figured why not? I walked over to her.

"Hey Joy." I said and she looked up at me and smiled.

"Hello Nina how are you?" she said with a smile.

"Joy you know why I'm over here talking to you."

"Um no I don't know what you mean." she said looking back at her book.

"Joy I'm here to say that I know that you oveously still have feelings for Fabian and I am his girlfriend. And Joy you can't just sit there and try and steal him from me. Now weather he has feelings for you I don't know. I'm not saying you guys can be friends but.." she stopped me.

"..But you don't want me to be around him as much." she said cutting me off.

"I didn't say that. But giving me the smirks everytime u take him away just doesn't help. You make it seem like a game."

"Excuse me? Who made you the judge of me." she yelled. "he is my friend and maybe I do like him but I had him first! you stole him from me! you came here,took my room, took everything I enjoyed! My friends my Fabian everything! So leave me alone and go back from where you came from! " she said as she walked out the door leaving me in tears. And the next thing I remember is Fabian coming in seeing me.

"Nina are you okay?" He asked me. I didn't say anything.

"We herd y'all's conversation." Amber told me.

"I don't wanna talk about it just leave me alone!" I said as I ran out of the room and back to the house up to my room!

Fabians POV

Nina just ran out of the school and I think she went back to the house. I ran after her and went up stairs to her room to see if she was there. I walked in with no knock and saw her laying on her bed crying.

"Nina? Are you alright?" I asked softly as I say next to her on the bed.

"Fabian." she looked up at me.

"Yes? What's wrong Nina? I mean I herd your conversation with her."

"Yeah. Is it true? Did I steel you from her? Am I really a burden?" She said crying into my chest.

"Nina no. We were just friends when u came. We liked each other but then you came along and you know what I realized?"

"What" she sniffled.

"I realized that I am in love with you Nina. And you are not a burden. You make things better around her." I said to her an at that moment we kissed.

"I love you." I said to her and she smiled.

"I love you to Fabian." he said to me smiling.
I grabbed her hand and walked her out of her room and down stairs and we went into the family room with everyone in there except for Joy.

"Have you guys seen Joy?" Mara asked and we shook out heads no.

"I'll go check on her." Patricia said as she got up and went upstairs.

"So anyway! The play had been written! Try out will be tomrowow in the drama room." Mara said while she handed out scripts.

"A play?" Nina asked excited.

"Yeah. It's about finding love." Jerome said while rolling his eyes.

"Awww Alfie we so have to try out." amber said.

"Sorry plays aren't my thing..." She gave him her 'you better' look. "..but I'll make an exception for this one." he said as we a laughed.
