As the desk lady and I walked down the hallway, the desk lady stopped at a classroom. She told me to wait outside. She brought out two girls.
" Amy, this is our school's welcoming committee. " she told me.
She left me with the two girls.
" So... " I said to break the awkward silence.
" Well, I'm Kylie! And this is Autumn. " she said.
" Hi. " Autumn said shyly.
" Can I see your schedule? " Kylie asked.
I handed Kylie my schedule. Kylie scanned my schedule and led me down the hallway. She pointed to a classroom.
"This is Mrs. Scarp's room" she said. " She teaches math. "
After she had shown me all of my classes, she led me to my locker.
" Locker 149. " she said. " It's all yours "
Kylie and Autumn helped me unpack and organize my locker.After they had helped me, it was already time for lunch.
" Wanna sit with me and a few of my other friends? " she asked
I nodded my head. Kylie and I headed towards the cafeteria after Autumn had left.
The lunch room was HUGE. There was tons of tables. I looked around as everyone started to stare at me.
" Is she new? " a boy asked.
" Her hair is so pretty! " another girl said.
I smiled as I walked passed the tables. Everyone turned away as I sat down at the very last booth. Two girls sat on the other side of the booth. One had long, brown hair and the other had short, blonde hair.
" Hey guys " Kylie said to the other two girls.
" Are you not going to introduce us or something?! " the blonde said.
" Ok ok! My bad. " she took a deep breath. " Sarah, Rachel, this is Amy. Amy, this is Sarah. " she said pointing to the blonde. " And this is Rachel. "she said pointing to the brunette.
" Hey! " I said to the girls.
" Nice to meet you! " said Sarah.
" OMG! " Rachel screamed.
" Spill it. " Kylie said.
" My mom said I could FINALLY make a chatterbox account!
" ARE YOU MESSING WITH US! " Sarah said happily.
" NO! I asked her last night! " she said.
" What's your username? " Kylie and Sarah asked.
" Beautyblossom89 " she said.
Kylie wrote the name on a peice of paper.
" Amy, what's your username? " Rachel asked.
I swallowed the pretzel I was chewing on. " I don't have a chatter box account. " I said in return.
" WHA- " Kylie started to say until the bell interrupted her voice.
" Well anyways, see you guys tomorrow! " said Sarah as she hurried to her next class.
We all waved at each other as we split up to get to our next classes.
