Taehyung is a student who studies in library every day. one day there is a new cute librarian there and Taehyung is totally and utterly crushing on him.
A short little story of Taekook
As much as Taehyung willed Thursday to arrive more quickly, it didn't. He still had to go to college and had to complete the never ending essays. though he was constantly thinking about certain cute bunny like librarian and his first chance to really be alone with him, out of sight from the curious eyes.
But hiding something from Jimin isn't easy. For example When he came to the library on Wednesday, Jungkook's face light up "Hi Taehyungie hyung," he said waving excitedly which made Taehyung's tummy erupted with butterflies and Jimin's's eyes to go wide.
"Damn Tae, what did I miss? Are you guys hooking up already ?" He asked him while they put their jackets into lockers.
"What? No" Taehyung protested, a little too strongly perhaps. Jimin didn't buy it.
"Oh, come on, you're making all mooneyes at him and he's just the same. It'd be lame to watch if it weren't actually almost sweet." Jimin said while rolling his eyes.
Taehyung sighed in exasperation. "Alright, so maybe we've almost kind of been on a date perhaps once or twice? I don't know, it's not that simple."
"And why not?"
Taehyung sighed again. "I don't know, Jiminie, it's just that Don't you think he's much too cute for me? And too smart ? And too... Everything?"
His friend grinned. "Yeah, I kinda do" Jimin said and Taehyung punched him on the shoulder. "You're such a shitty friend. I'll keep that in mind the next time you need someone to help you with your math homework."
Jimin's face fell. "Yeah right, about that..."
"No."
"Oh come on, Taehyung you know I need your help!"
"No."
"I'll ask your boyfriend, then."
Taehyung sighed. "Don't you dare. And don't call him that."
"So you'll help me?"
"If you shut up."
Jimin just grinned. "You know I won't."
"I know. Come on, let's go, before that Lisa girl can steal our table again"
Taehyung surprised Jimin by not going to the library after their college the following day.
"What happened, are you sick?" his friend asked, trying to feel his forehead. Taehyung swatted the hand away.
"No, I just don't feel well today. I think I'll go to dorm, order a pizza and watch some anime".
Taehyung didn't feel like telling his friend the truth that he would come back to study in the evening and then stay behind with Jungkook (the mere thought of that made the butterflies in his stomach go crazy). He knew that Jimin would tease him (best case scenario) or decide to come along in the evening (worst case scenario) to atleast tease him.Taehyung didn't feel like either option would make his day better.
Jimin seemed to believe him, though.
"Alright I guess I'll see you tomorrow, then?" Taehyung nodded and waved his friend goodbye as he walked towards the dorms.
