The silhouettes vanished as quickly as they had arrived, the job had been done. Dawn's light shone over the camp, freshly fallen snow having covered the ground during the night.
Rosestar awoke from her den, always the first cat awake, something smelt...off. She peered outside of her den, only to have her eyes widen in shock.
There lay the blood covered body of Embereye, her usually bright amber eyes were glazed over with death.
Embereye has been killed. She was the Concealer.
The leader took a deep breath, before calling her Clan before her, blocking out the sound of horrified gasps.
"We need to find out who did this, this was clearly done by cats from our own Clan..."
The cats before her nodded uneasily. Hailmist opened his mouth to say something, however the Elder rolled their eyes at the sight, and flicked their tail to silence him.
Hailmist has been muted by the elder.
