Percy and Bruce are the best of friends and they have been for quite a while now. they met through Percy's uncle Alfred. bruce and Percy had grown up together and were both devastated when Mr and Mrs Wayne had died but they had gotten through the grief together.
But after a while, bruce had started to realise that he had a little more than platonic feelings for Percy. He felt awkward around her and wanted to tell her, he didn't want to ruin their friendship.
before she went missing Percy moved in with her mother and new stepfather paul. every night he would try to sneak out and fail miserably as he didn't know where she lived.
"where do you think you're going?" bruces head whipped around to find Alfred staring at him. what an odd site that mus be he thought to himself a young bruce Wayne halfway through the window trying to sneak out.
Alfred should be used to it by now, it was almost a formality.
he kept on trying to sneak out and failing, sneaking out and failing.
One day he just gave up looking for percy and began to accept that she was gone.
One day alfred came home to see Bruce staring at a newspaper as pale as a ghost and when Alfred saw the newspaper he felt sorry for the young boy.
Because the title was PERCY JACKSON:MISSING if you see the young girl please notify the authority.
That was the day Bruce fell in love with percy jackson because you don't realise how much you love something till its gone
