Beep. Beep. Beep.
My alarm clock went off signaling its time for me to wake up. I groaned but took my covers off and went to the bathroom. I'm Lila Drew I live with my brother, Dylan Drew, my sister, Maya Drew, and my parents. As I got out the shower I brushed my teeth and put my cloths on. A black long sleeved shirt and blue jeans and black leather boots. I headed out my room I ran into my brother.
"Morning Lila" Dylan chirped
"Morning Dylan" I said
When we went down stairs we saw Maya stuffing down the food.
" Save some for us baby sis" Dylan said to Maya. Maya is in the 4th grade, shes ten, Me and Dylan are seniors in high school. Dylan is one year older than me but he took last year off so were in the same grade now.
" Okay Dylan" Maya said
I wasn't really wasn't hungry so I just got an apple and went to the living room to text my best friend Charlie. He's a guy in case you were wondering.
Charlie:
You want me to pick you up?
Me:
Nope Dylan is taking me today
Charlie:
Okay, well cant text and drive so bye Lila.
Me:
Bye Charlie.
"Dylan, hurry up eating"
"I'm finished already. No need to yell."
" Bye Maya" Me and Dylan in unison.
"Bye guys" The car ride to school was silent. Except for some music in the background. When we got to school me and Dylan said our byes and went our separate ways.
I went to my locker and got the necessary books and stuff for my bio class. When I closed my locker I almost had an heart attack. There was Charlie staring at me.
"Hey Lila" Charlie said he didn't seem very happy, what happened to him.
"What happened Charlie"
" Jess broke up with me" He said. Jess was Charlie's girlfriend for five months. I never really liked her she didn't really like me, we had an understanding of that. I guess she felt threatened by me, as if I was going to steal Charlie from her. I don't see Charlie as anything more than a friend.
"Why did she brake up with you?"
"She gave me that whole it's not you its me crap"
" That's her loss any girl would be lucky to have you, okay."
"I guess you're right"
"You know i'm right, wanna come to my house tomorrow and sleep over?"
"Okay Lila but I have to ask my mom first you know how she gets"
"Yeah I know how she gets"
