She is still in my Heart,

She will stay with my Soul,

Her shadow will follow;

wherever I should go.

Her hand will always be in mine,

As time flows on by.

Since the time both our eyes met,

My mother fell in love

and it is her I will never forget,

Year roll on, and I've passed the haze,

Now, I have my own children to raise.

This wonderful lady,

my beautiful mother,

There is none alike,

like her, there is no other.

Maybe, I wondered,

Just maybe, I thought,

If she remembered those daisies,

So long ago I bought.

I wrote this poem when my teacher's mother died, who I knew were very close. This poem is to Mrs, Peachey of Mutarnee SS. I only wish that one day I could write a pure poem for my Mum, one that would sum up the love I have for her, and always will.
