I close my eyes and hear the piano start to play. I hold the microphone with a tight grip. My hands most likely going white. Then.

BOOM! CRASH!! I hear gasps and falling objects and things breaking I open my eyes to see everyone looking in one spot. I catch a glimpse of the madness, I can't believe my eyes. I did as everyone else

"gasp"

I can't believe this is happening. I slowly walk off the stage and towards the door of the hall. I break into a run

"you bastard!" I yell.

I here gasps from the crowd because of my language, -I'm oblivious as to what is happening around me- but I don't care. I run into Nate's extended arms.

"I thought you left, I thought you couldn't come" I whispered to him.

"Guess what" he whispers back

"What?' I question

"I lied"

Some 'aww' sounds are heard from some audience members.

Mrs. Harvey clears her throat into her microphone to get everyones attention. She glares at me.

"Right, sorry" I let go of Nate and walk towards the stage.

I hold the microphone to my mouth ready to sing, as the first chords of the song are played I look straight into Nate's eyes, only focusing on him. I begin to sing as best I can hoping not to sound to crap and makes everyones ears bleed.

As the chorus starts to roll in, I start to let loose a little and have a bit more fun, because I just don't give a shit what they think anymore. Screw them, I have Nate back and thats all I need.

'On we march, till we meet the dawn.

We will light our way with our lanterns on'

The song finished and the crowd erupts into a loud bundle of applauses and cheers. I smile and curtsy being stupid, but hey its me what do you expect I'm surprised I haven't fallen off the stage yet, thats how clumsy I am. haha. What am i doing with my life? Oh well you love me.

After the ceremony is finished, we all stand up while the principle says one last 'heartwarming' speech. Talking about the road ahead and all that graduation kinda stuff.

We face our fellow peers, that we have shared memories with for the past 5 years, good and bad. Then we face the audience. Many proud smiles are worn. But the one that shines the brightest is of coarse Nate's.

1...

And we throw our hats in the air. The end of high school, we survived. I feel like this is the part where we run to each other, do a group hug, and have our last big musical number. Just me?

High school musical, who says we have to let it go.

Its the best part we've ever know, step into the the future and hold on to.

After I had my imaginary high school musical moment I walk up Nate -God I missed him-

"So how was new york?"

Nate turns around and smiles.

"Yeah it was good, but you weren't there so how could I have fun?"

"Yeah true, I'm such a riot aren't I? The life of the party."

"Mitch have you actually been to a proper party?"

"Shut up!" and I push him a little, smiling. Really I wouldn't have it any other way.

"But anyway don't you have your other 'actor' friends"

"Yeah Lachlan, Josh, Kai, and Joe are great, but no one will ever beat the greatness of my little Mitch over here." He says messing up my hair, he has the biggest grin on his face, it even manages to bring one just as big to my face.

"Oh the famous Lachlan, Josh, Kai, and Joe, when am I actually going to meet these 'great' guys?"

"You will meet them eventually, next time I visit I will bring them with me. deal?"

"Deal" and I shake his extended hand.

"Well this after party blows mitch, wanna get out of here?"

"Oh god, I thought you would never ask, lets go"

Nate loops his arms for me to grab, so I loop my arm through it, and off we go. into the sunset. Even though it was night, but whatever let a girl dream.

"gasp" haha.

This is maybe one of my favourite chapters so far, the writing isn't to good... Well none of my writing is good, but I just like how it worked out. Pretty happy. I think I'm probably maybe half way through the story maybe a bit more. I'll have to see what I can come up with. Got major writers block right now. And I'm working on a another story as well which wont be publish for a while yet maybe a bit after this story is finished. It has three chapters at the moment i'm just brainstorming with ideas through out the story. Which i didn't do for this one and it's all over the place and i always run out of ideas. Hope you like the chapter. They are kinda short but whatever
