Jacks p.o.v
"Hey mom, dad can we talk..."
"Sure honey what's up"
"What is it son"
"Well... Um... Actually mom can we talk privately for a sec?"
Mom and I then walk out of the living room and into my room. I wasn't able to say this in front of dad. He would have been so pissed off.
"Jack... Honey what's wrong? Are you being bullied again?" You can hear the worry in her voice.
I laughed a little "no mom.. It's not that.. Um.. You might want to sit down for this.." She then finds my bed, moves all of my work that was due for the very first day of school. I didn't that being a senior you would have all this work to do. she was there sitting in silence waiting for me to say something. "Um.. Mom.. I don't know how to tell you this... But.. I'm.. Well.. I'm gay."
She sits there in silence for a long time biting her lip like she always does when she's nervous and trying to think of something to say.
"Honey, that's okay! You know I support you no matter what!" She then gives me a smile and a big hug.
"I'll go tell your father.. But you have to be there with me." We then leave the room and go to the kitchen where my dad is.
"Honey, I.. we have to tell you something" my mother said will a smile.
"You didn't get some girl pregnant did you Jack??" My dad laughed out. I did the same.
"No dad!"
"Okay then.. what is it?" The room was silent for awhile. Then my mom finally said "well honey.. You know how we both said that no matter what Jack picks we will support him through it?"
"Yes dear, I remember."
"Well little Jack told me that.. He was.. Um.." My mom stopped and bit her lip she was nervous.
"Dad, I'm gay." I said with a nervous laugh.
"Okay that's great.. WAIT WHAT?!?!" My dad then put his head in his hands.
"Okay!! That's great!! Better than you getting a girl pregnant." He then got up and walked to his room. "Um.. I'm going to take a nap for a bit." He said as he was talking up stairs.
"He will accept it.. Just give him some time okay?" My mother said as she was walking up stairs to go talk to my dad.
I felt something hot run down my cheeky, it then reached my lips and it was salty. Great I'm crying. I then started to head for my room. I grabbed my phone and called Zach. He was the only person that I told because I knew he could keep it a secret. Also because he was gay too..
"Hey baby! How did it go?" Zach said
"It went fine. I told my mom first and then I told my dad. But I didn't tell them about us yet. How did it go for you?"
"Well my parents already knew.. But at least they know that I told them.. And also I told them about us.. And they want you and you family to come over for dinner..."
"But, um... My parents don't know about us yet.. My dad still hasn't accepted that I'm gay."
"Baby it will be okay.." There was a long pause I could hear his long deep breaths God that turned me on. Finally he says "okay I'll ask if you can just come over I'll tell them that you haven't told your parents that your gay yet. Okay love?"
"Okay Zacky! I love you see you soon!"
"Love you too!" Then he hangs up.
God I love that boy so much!!
---3 hours later---
I knock on the Merrick's door. Mr. Merrick answers.
"Why hello there Jack! How are you?" He says as I walk in there home.
"I'm wonderful thank you for asking."
He then leads me to the living room.
"Hey Zach!"
"Hey baby" he said with a smile and I blush a little bit.
"I hope you don't mind I invited Alex and Rian too.."
"Not one bit.. Just as long as we don't tell them..."
"Oh no were not."
"Dinners almost ready.. Where's Alex and Rian?" Zachs mom asked.
"They said they will be here in a minute." A few seconds later there's a knock at the door.
"Jack honey can you get that please." Mrs Merrick asked
"Yes ma'm" I said as I was walking to the door. I opened it and let Rian and Alex in. "Hey guys!"
"Hey Jack!" They said at the same time. I couldn't help but stare at Alex. He looked so beautiful. He had his beanie over his blond and brown hair. We both got our hair done as a birthday present for him. We have known each other since birth.
"Jack, hello earth to Jack!" Rian said. Damn it I was staring for too long.
"What are you staring at??" Alex asked.
"Oh um sorry I spaced out for a bit." I said with a half smile. I can't let them find out that I was gay. The entire band would go into a slump! Yes we started a band. Stupid right? But we already have fans and a record deal. We are call All Time Low. We then start to walk into the living room and start playing video games.
"Boys! Dinners ready" Mr Merrick yelled.
"Okay be there in a minute!" Zach said back. We ended the game and then Zach whispered in my ear "I think im going to tell them now." I just sat there trying to process what he said.
"Hey guys before we go and eat I should tell you something... I'm.. Gay.. And so is Jack.. We are a couple." I tried to stop him but it was too late. Alex and Rian just sat there looking a Zach then me.
