It was the night before Christmas. I was packing my bag for London with Ashton by my side. He was going through my closet and picking what clothes I should bring, but I had the final say in everything.

"What about this?" He picked out some hot pink booty shorts and he was smirked like crazy.

"Ashy, it's Winter, I'm not bringing shorts." I shook my head. Ash tossed the shorts into the 'no' pile on my desk chair, that was gradually getting bigger by the minute.

"This?" He asked, holding a crimson knitted sweater up to his torso.

"Um, yeah. I like it, do you?" I said, folding a pair of tracksuit bottoms and pressing them into my suitcase.

"I don't care what you where, babe. You look perfect in everything." Ashton grinned, padding over to me and kissing my lips passionately. I enjoyed the kiss. It felt so natural.

"I love you." Ashton whispered when the kiss ended.

"I love you more." I whispered back.

"Impossible." Ashton winked, planting a light kiss on my nose.

We continued packing until my case was full and decided to go and watch a movie in the media room, which thankfully wasn't already occupied.

I told Ashton to set up the DVD, he knew how to now, he was basically a pro, while I made some hot chocolate, which I was quite good at. Every time I made it, I got endless requests for more off my sisters.

I joined Ashton in the media room with the hot chocolate and he immediately took a sip.

"Oh my gosh, this is amazing! How come I've never tasted it before?" He asked as if he had waited his whole life to taste the drink.

"Because it's too good to waste on you, Ashy." I giggled. Ashton pouted. "Just kidding."

Ash laughed. He was so adorable.

The movie he played was 'Miracle on 34th Street', my all time favourite Christmas movie. I had seen it so many times, I didn't even mind when we both fell asleep. It was 10pm when I woke from my slumber. I woke Ashton.

"Ashy," I smiled as he opened his eyes.

"Hey, Cassy." He whispered.

"I have something for you." I smiled. "One sec."

I ran to my bedroom and opened my desk drawer. My Christmas present to Ashton had been lying there for a week. It was terribly wrapped but I knew the gift would make up for it. I rushed back downstairs.

"Here," I said as I sat down."

"What is this?" Ashton said, taking the gift.

"My Christmas present to you." I giggled

"It's looked so neatly done." Ash chuckled at the messy paper around it.

"Oh, shush. Just open it." I rolled my eyes and giggled.

"Okay." Ashton sighed, tearing at the paper. He smiled at the gift as it revealed a small brown box. He opened it. Inside was a long chain holding a silver dog tag. Ashton turned the tag over.

"Ashton and Cass, 4/11/12" Ashton read. "Let me guess... the day we first met." Ashton smiled.

"Yes." I grinned. Ashton leaned in to kiss me and I planted a kiss on his lips.

"Thank you. I love it." He clipped the chain around his neck. "Now, for Cassy's present." Ashton searched in his pocket for something and then handed me a long black box.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"Open it." Ashton nodded.

I slowly opened the box. Inside, it held a silver bracelet with pink sapphires planted every few centimetres. It was beautiful. I looked at it in awe.

"Ash, this must have cost you a fortune!" I whispered.

"Only the best for Cassandra Mendes." Ashton winked, repeating what all of the boys had said in the hospital when they gave me the Pandora charm, which I was wearing right now actually.

"I love it also." I kissed him.

"Here, I'll put it on." Ashton said, taking the bracelet out of the box. He clipped it around my wrist and smiled.

"Something beautiful," I said. "To cover something ugly." Referring to my scars.

"Hey, your scars are beautiful." Ashton whispered, rubbing his thumb over them. "Any imperfections anybody has are beautiful."

"Thank you." I whispered.

Ashton kissed my scars suddenly, then took a marker out of his pocket and drew a butterfly on my wrist. I slipped into his embrace. We stayed in the couch for a few minutes. Simons voice interrupted us.

"I don't think Santa comes if people are downstairs." We heard Simon holler through the house. Scattering of feet rushed up the stairs.

"I should get going." Ash said.

"Yeah. Can I drop you home?" I asked. Ash nodded.

We crammed into my Mini and drove slowly to Ashton's apartment being careful on the snow and ice on the roads.

"Will I see you tomorrow?" Ashton asked as we climbed the steps to his door.

"I have church and dinner and family who need me. Sorry. But I'll see you on Friday. London here we come!"

"No problem, and I can't wait. Merry Christmas." Ashton smiled.

"Merry Christmas." I kissed Ashton and hugged him before driving away back to my house.
