Hannibal looks down at Abigail Hobbs as Will Graham and Jack Crawford enter the room. He feels a fatherly responsibility for her. Not quite in an affectionate way as with his own children, but she was a child depending on him and his strength now, that her male role model is dead. He glances at his phone. "Is anything the matter, Dr. Lecter?", Will asks, rubbing the bridge of his nose in a nervous manner. "I haven't gotten an answer yet so I.." "Hannibal!" "Papa!" Everyone turns to the door in shock. "You are alright. Thank god. I was about to take over the entire hospital again just to make sure your operation is done well.", Saturn seems to calm down slowly at the sight of him while Cassiopeia wiggles out of her mothers grasp and, on her short legs, runs over to him. Lifting her into his arms she clutches onto him tightly as he opens his free arm to his wife who quickly joins his side, dropping her head against his shoulder and wrapping her arms around him. "Dr. Lecter.. Who are these people?" "Apologies. This is my wife. Dr. Dr. Saturn Atlas-Lecter. And this my daughter Cassiopeia Atlas-Lecter.", Hannibal introduces. The two bystanders look back and forth between them in awe and shock. "Is that the little one who was injured?" Saturn glances at Abigail's pale form. Hannibal nods slightly and she steps closer. "Throat slit. Mean one. I had to stitch up six in my time here..", she says, taking the free, cool hand. "Poor little thing. How old is she? Seventeen?" "Yes." "I'm sure she'll wake up. She's got the spirit.", Saturn says and brushing over the back of the girls hand. "What about you? You know that you aren't supposed to stress yourself too much. It's not good for.." ".. me and the baby. Yes. Yes. But what did you expect from a message that reads that you are in the hospital, there have been some problems and that someone almost died?!" "Maybe I should have phrased it differently." "Mrs. Lecter.." "Yes?" "I'm Jack Crawford." "Very nice to meet you. Saturn Atlas-Lecter." She shakes the man's hand with a soft smile. "How long have the two of you been married?" "Two years now. And a couple for two before that.", Saturn says, with her free hand rubbing her ever growing belly. "May I ask you what your profession is? Two doctor titles and you can not be old. I am curious." "I currently am head of a research facility working on methods to treating cancer and also lead biochemist of the facility. Before that I was actually both head and head surgeon of this very hospital. Therefore my doctor titles are regarding biology and medicine.", she explains. "Fascinating. Is that how you met Dr. Lecter?" The couple exchanges a glance. "We met on a party of an ex-colleague who celebrated me and the board not accepting his work for his second doctor title and invited me to spite me. It still was a very enjoyable evening in the end because it introduced me to Hannibal.", she chuckles, before shaking her head. "If you want to know our age difference, then just ask, Mr. Crawford. I do not care and neither does Hannibal." "May I ask for it then?" "Twenty years." "Twenty. You are merely thirty two years old?" "Indeed.", Saturn nods. "Mr. Graham." "How do you know my name?" "Your badge is dangling from your pocket. It is nice to meet you too." The man looks up hesitantly but the eyes that meet his are the kindest he has ever seen. Warm brown like molten chocolate. The woman looks as if she couldn't even hurt a fly. "Likewise.", he mumbles out, earning himself a smile. "Why.. The double last name?" "Because it works so well with my first one. In an Atlas one would find the planet Saturn. And possibly the star constellation Cassiopeia. It was too perfect to not leave it.", she explains. "Speaking of her I think someone wants back to you." "My baby.", Saturn smiles, lifting her daughter back up into her arms. The brunette girl with large maroon eyes cuddles into her mothers neck, shyly glancing at the two strangers. "Mama. Wanna go home.", she pouts. "Hannibal? Are you coming home with us?" The man nods. "I think I'll need to cook tonight to unwind a bit." "Very well. I'll be anywhere buy the kitchen as per usual." "Why?" The woman turns around to look at Will Graham, her kind eyes twinkling. "My body is unable to process meat. And Hannibal likes to cook with meat as you may have noticed when you ate breakfast together. Just the scent of it unnerves me. My daughter has it too. I guess it's a genetic mutation that was passed down..", she explains kindly, then waves, making her daughter do the same, passing through the door that Hannibal holds open for them, his gaze affectionate. He presses a kiss to his wife's temple and she smiles, then the door falls shut. "They love each other.", Will says, before Crawford can even ask. "You think so?" "Yes." "I didn't take him for a man that likes younger women." "It is not a preference if you ask me. It's pure coincidence that she is so much younger than him." Jack nods slightly and they glance out of the window where they can see the married couple walk side by side, the young woman leaning into her husbands arm and her daughter on her arm.
