LOVING IN THE 80'S

Prolog

"Grandma, Grandpa!", a kid came running into our house.
"Judy hello! Where have you left your brother and parents?", I asked.
"They are still in the car!", my older grandkid spoke excited.
After that my daughter and her husband walked in with lillte Lucas. He is my younger grandkid and is the sweetest little boy you could ever meet.
"Welcome Jane and Derek, and of course hello Lucas!", I greet my daugter and her family.
"Elo ganma!", little Lucas said.
"Nice to see you again mom!", my daughter greeted while hugging me.
"Theodor they are here come downstairs!", I yelled at my husband.
"Yeah coming!", he yelled back.
A few seconds later he came down the stairs and also greeted everybody. The kids were very excited to see him and he kissed both of them on the cheek.
"You want some hot chocolate and cookies?", i asked the children.
They immediately agreed and run into the kitchen. I walked behind them and as I entered Lucas was already eating one of my fresh baked cookies. I just laughed and made some coffee for the adults and two hot chocolates for the little ones. I put a few cookies on a plate for everyone to grab and brought everything into the living room where everybody was already waiting.
Everyone grabbed a cookie and their drink, as we talked about different things. Derek and Jane told us all about what was currently  happening in their life. They don't visit that often because they live in another state and it takes a few hours to drive here.
As they told us everything new that has happened since last time they visited and we had nothing left to talk about, silence came over us. Everyone just sat there and drank their drink. The cookies were already aten, so I got up and braught some new ones.
As I got back to the living room the kids were asking grandpa many things about his life when he was young. I smiled and sat down next to him.
The next question they asked was "How did you and grandma fall in love?"
My husband looked at me and said "Well that is a really long story, you sure you want to hear that?"
"Yes, yes, yes!", they screamed excited.
Then Jane said that she would be interested in this story as well, because we never told her either. Also we would have enough time as they will stay for the christmas holidays.
So we agreed to tell our Lovestory to our family. This is about to take a while, so I made some new coffee and hot chocolate and brought lots of cookies with me into the living room. Everyone got comfortable and I began to talk...

Hey it's me! I hope you enjoyed the first chapter! The story idea just came to my mind and I thought I should just write an story. The story will probably be not that long maybe about 20 to 30 chapters? I will try to write a bit longer chapters too.
