"Get the girl and move," he told me, the feed through the comms making his orders a bit croaky.

"Already on it," I muttered, crouching low and scanning the area.

The place was blown to bits and if anyone managed to survive that, then they certainly wouldn't have gotten past the poison wave.

I paused, and picked up a shard of glass on the floor.
It was speckled with blood - but was still jagged and dangerous nonetheless.

"What the hell are you doing Haechan, move!"

I rolled my eyes and continued my mission, slinking down the hallways and occasionally checking for any witnesses behind me.

The bounty was on the top floor, which was four floors above from me, but I easily managed to climb onto the remains of the elevator and then shimmed up the cables.

I coughed when I reached the top floor. It was the only level that hadn't been as badly affected - but it was still dangerous to explore alone.

"Which room?" I spoke into my comm.

I heard tapping on the other side.

Doesn't he know this stuff already?

Then: "Second door on the left."

I lowered my body and crept into the left hallway, the shard of glass sitting nicely in my belt, until I reached the second door.
The glass around it was cracked, and I prayed that the girl was still inside.

The door opened easily enough, but when I entered - there was nothing inside.

"Who the hell are you?"

I turned around, my glass shard already in my hand, but then smirked.

"Oh princesa, how lovely for you to join me."

"What's it looking like chief?"

"Genocide."

She sighed and rubbed her temples. Then she pointed at me with a frustrated frown on her face. "Why don't we have a team out there? They're the ones that need the most help!"

I raised my hand up to shush her, which worked. "Patience, darling. I have a plan for those Inklings."

"You'd better," she muttered under her breath, but resumed to her work anyway.

I scrolled up the screen, refreshing the page, until a live broadcast of the damage aired.
An office tower, with at least fifty floors, was blown to bits and a kidnapping/genocide/robbery had happened.

All within the span of an hour.

"They need help in more ways than one, darling," I muttered to myself. "And Blaze is the only one who can save them."
