If Relationships Were Real

One Shot

I hadn't expected to meet anyone at the moment. I'd just turned up at the premier with Anthoy, walked the read carpet, vlogging everything that happened. Just the same old same old. Nothing new at all. It wasn't until after we'd watched the new Dumb and Dumber.

I think she was there with all the others who knew who we were. The "fangirls" that only turned up because they wanted to try and get a photo with me and Anthony. I think I saw, lent against the barriers, she wasn's screaming though, just watching at waiting, looking impatient as someone next her -I assume it was her friend- jumped up and down screaming giddily as we got closer to where they were waiting.

I think I'd had too much soda before the movie and the need for the toilet had built up inside me during the movie. It was practically unbareable now so I left Anthony in his seat while I rushed off to the men's room. I got there just before the herd of people from the movie managed to crowd the bathroom.

Once I'd finished I headed out to find Anythony. I reckoned he'd probably headed out into the foyer and would be waiting for me but I couldn't find him. I decided rather than keep moving arounf looking and missing him at every turn I'd sit at the side of the rabble and hope he's notice me when he finally turned up.

At the side of the foyer when you could buy whatever you wanted for your perfect movie watching experience there where a few little tables with chairs around them. I pulled a chair out and sat. I was still looking out into the distance trying to spot Anthony so I didn't notice the girl sat at the table until I turned around.

To be honest I didn't even notice her then. I rested my elbows on the table and let my head fall into hands. I groaned at how long I'd waited and then lifted my head. She was sat there across from me staring at me with a strange look on her face. That's when I remember the horrid noise I'd made when I groaned, I didn't realise quite how loud the groan was though.

"Oh, hey, I didn't see you there, would you like me to move?" I said with an awkward smile pulling at my lips.

"No, you're fine, I shouldn't be here much longer anyway. I'm just waiting for my friend." She replied, they look on her face fading as she spoke.

"Oh, okay then, same here really." The smile became more natural, losing it's awkwardness.

"Really. Wait up... You're one of them guys aren't you? The YouTube guys?" She askes with a slight bit of curiousity in her tone.

"Erm... I think so, yeah. I'm one of them YouTube guys." I said understanding what she meant.

"Yeah. My little sister likes you. She thinks you're brilliant!" She paused for a second looking down as if she was trying to remember something "SMOSH! That's it, you're one of the SMOSH guys right?"

"Yeah, that's me. I'm Ian. The other guy is Anthony." I replied happily.

"Cool. Can't believe my sister isn't here when she should be. Typical right?" A smile stretched her mouth showing perfect, natural white teeth.

"Yeah, typical." Is all I said in reply.

She pulled her phone from her bag and looked at the screen with a small smirk.

"Listen, I have to go, apparently my sister is waiting outside with her friends, she wants to go get food. I'd tell her I'm sat with half of SMOSH but she wouldn't believe me."

"Oh, okay then." I said, my smile fading ever so slightly.

"Erm... I liked talking to you, maybe we could talk again sometime. You can have my number if you like?" She asked me and waited for an answer.

"Yeah, sure. Why not." I handed her my phone so she cound add her number to my contats. "Thanks, I guess I'll text you later or something?" 

"Sure, go ahead. See you later, Ian." She smiled and walked away towards the doors and was gone.

Not long after Anthony finally showed up. He looked like he was out breath and slumped into the chair the girl had just been sat in.

"Where were you? I've been running around this place trying to find you!" He said between pants.

"I've been here the past ten minutes. You obviously didn't look far." I remarked and smiled.

After a little bit of back and forth we headed off home. I didn't forget about the girl though. As soon as I goot home I sat myself on the sofa and took out my phone. It was then I realised I had not asked her what her name was. I scrolled through my contacts trying to find the new name. The name that wasn't there before. After a minute of so of scrolling up and down I found it. It was there on my screen. Her name.

Sorry that is so short and probably quite bad. It is a first attempt and I will continue it on my other account @ThnksFrThYoutuber if you want to check it out when I publish it (hopefullt this weekend). Also, I am English so please excuse any Americanisms I get wrong :/
