In the dawn of time, the Great Creator made the universe and willed it to expand. Having completed His work, He closed His omnipercipient eyes and laid Himself to rest. His body returned to the cosmos which he created and His final breath gave life to four siblings - The Elementals - Fire, Water, Wind and Earth. With the cosmos as their canvas, these artists painted the masterpiece we see around us today.
Fire chased away the darkness by lighting up the universe with His light. His brilliant jewels burn away evil and protect us from the unseen forces trying to invade from Beyond.
Earth wanted to see joy in the universe, so She cut a part of her beautiful, long, flowing hair and bunched it up into a ball, making the planet we live on. The tips of Her hair poked outwards, bringing into creation trees which bore fruits never seen before.
To keep the universe bountiful, Water cried tears of Happiness and Love, distributing them to space as ice, and on cooled stars and planets as water bodies. Her graciousness ensured the survival of even the tiniest creatures.
Wind breathed sighs of contentment upon seeing the fruits of Their labour and gave life to the still planets. These brothers and sisters then made creatures of their own design to roam the planet made by Earth.
Fire made dragons and all other creatures bathed in His glorious light, Water made mermaids and all creatures who find joy and serenity in life. Wind made pegasi, fairies and more who found delight in mischief. Earth was thoughtful however. She made animals and birds and even humans. Yet, She felt something amiss. Suddenly, she realised what She had yet to do. She grabbed clay off the earth and made it into a humanoid shape. She gave light to it's soul by burning it in fire and finally, kissed it's forehead, tying it to nature's life force. As She set the figure onto the earth's surface, it came to life.
This creature though seemed human, had the power to Create just like it's own Creators. With it's voice, and intention when matched in rhythm created miracles abound. However, it was too late before they noticed Their mistake. The humans became jealous of the creature's powers and demanded for their own gift. This negative energy birthed demons in the depths of the earth and they clawed up to the surface.
Ordered by the Gods to banish these demons, the creature and others of its kind was doomed to keep these monsters at bay while the humans were made to forget about their existence to correct the mistake. As peace returned to the humans, the creature and its kind were trapped in an endless war to protect earth, fighting off demons which were created by the negative energy of the humans.
These unthanked warriors of song were blessed as Sirens. Their attacks powerful and wide ranging, their only limit was their words. As long as they could say it, they could make it.
Even today, their descendants roam the earth trying to live their lives while battling a growing evil, obeying the old orders of the Elementals who mysteriously vanished not long after they first commanded the Sirens. Unbeknownst to human kind, their survival continued thanks to the diligence of these cursed, but not everything was forever.....was it?
