A few days passed by. The last time the boys had been able to talk to Taehyung had been last Saturday when they...well, when Yoongi...knocked him out. Ever since then, Taehyung had made it clear that he didn't want to be near them. Not even Hoseok, who he had told straight in his face before Quidditch practice that he was a dirty traitor for doing that to Taehyung.
None of the other students thought anything of it; they just figured either Taehyung had done something stupid and was, therefore, staying away from his usual friend group, or they had done something to him and he was angry with them.
Just a normal fight between boys. No one thought it was strange.
Taehyung was hanging out more with Abigail than ever and it was worrying some of the six boys, because Abigail's crush seemed to have grown into quite the obsession over the young Hufflepuff.
They could see her staring at Taehyung when he was eating, staring at him when he was doing his homework, staring at him when he was commenting on the Quidditch games. They could hear her tell him he was too handsome for his own good, tell him he had to go to bed on time, tell him to come with her everywhere she went, tell him to take her everywhere he would go.
Yoongi claimed that Taehyung was oblivious to the girl's crush, otherwise he would've been miles away from the girl by now.
Jimin claimed Taehyung saw Abigail as his best friend now, so how could he stay away from her?
Jungkook claimed that Taehyung had a crush on the girl too and therefore didn't mind her obsessive behaviour.
And then there was Jin, who was absolutely a hundred percent sure that Taehyung's altered memories included liking and accepting Abigail's obsession with him. After all, before last Saturday, Taehyung hung out with Abigail only every two days or so. Not every second of every day.
So that's why Jin was now about to confront Abigail on her strange behaviour and ask her what the hell was wrong with her.
They were in the same House, so that was easy.
During dinner, the boys now sat with their own Houses. They didn't want to sit at the Hufflepuff table and be confronted with the fact that Taehyung still couldn't remember being friends with them.
Jin was therefore now walking to the Gryffindor table, where Namjoon was already sitting and chatting with some of his fellow second-year Gryffindors. Jin decided to leave the younger be and went to sit right in front of Abigail, but only after glancing behind him to see Taehyung chatting to Dan and Uzuri. He felt a nagging feeling in his stomach, and he knew it was because things weren't right. The seven boys weren't supposed to sit so far away from each other.
Abigail looked up when she saw Jin and she smiled at him as a greeting. Jin turned back to her and frowned.
"Abigail." Jin said.
"Hi, Jin." Abigail chuckled. "What's with the frown?"
"We need to talk." Jin said firmly.
"Al...right?" Abigail said a little hesitant. "What about?"
"Taehyung."
Abigail chuckled nervously, but nodded. "Okay, what's with Taehyung?"
Jin squinted his eyes at her. "That's exactly what I wanted to ask you. You seem to be hanging out quite a lot with him these days. Besides that, he doesn't seem to remember we are friends."
