"Wanna go to the movies?" Rye asks as he laid back on his bed tossing a ball up and catching it. Andy leaned up from his position on the floor. "What's a movie?" Andy asks, his eyebrow raised in confusion.

Rye puts down his ball staring wide eyed at him. "You've never seen a movie" Rye asks incredibly, Andy shaking his head with a slight blush.

Rye attention focused on the little action. His crush on the small blond had gotten more noticeable to himself. "Well let's go see one" Rye said, smiling as he slid off his bed. Andy got up from his spot on the floor and followed him out of his room.

"Oh fatherrrr" Rye calls, walking through the house. Hearing a groan, he smirked walking into the living room. "Yes son" Hue says turning away from the TV. "I need money to take Andy to the movies" Rye says ignoring the smirk that took place on his face.

"Here you go" Hue says taking out his wallet and handing Rye the money. Rye grabs onto Andy's hand leading him to the door, ignoring his dads awing at them.

"Hey Rye" A voice says as they walked into the entrance of the movie theater. A blond haired boy stood behind the counter, waving at Rye. Andy just stared at him while Rue smiled widely, walking quickly toward him.

"Brook I thought you went on vacation" Rye says after they given each other hugs. "I did but we came back yesterday" He explains, then his attention is turned to Andy. "Hi I'm Brooklyn" he says, the bright smile not leaving his face as he holds his hand toward Andy.

Andy takes his hand, shaking it and smiling back at him. "Brook, this is Andy" Rye introduces them, getting the money out of his pocket for the tickets. Andy studies Brook as he did the same. Something about Brook felt familiar, he didn't know why but he reminded him of someone.

"Enjoy your movie and it was nice to meet you Andy" Brook says after handing Rye a large drink and popcorn. "We're gonna share, if that's okay with you" Rye said, blushing a little. Andy nodded, already knowing he wouldn't be able to finish it if he had his own.

The theater was mostly empty, only a few couples and small family's scattered around. Rye takes a seat closer to the middle, Andy sitting down be side him. "The movie we're seeing is pretty old so that's why no ones really here" he says. Andy nods in understanding.

He looked toward the screen as the lights began to dim. Once Andy had seen the title of the movie, which was the little mermaid, he was instantly hooked. When the beautiful, red haired mermaid came onto the screen, Andy leaned forward in his seat.

The little mermaid was Ryes favorite movie, always coming to see it when they played it in the theater. This time, however, he was interested in watching the small blond that sat beside him. The way his eyes lit up when anything exciting happened in the movie, when his face scrunched up cutely when Ursula was shown, the way he munched on popcorn while still trying to watch the movie, missing his mouth a bit.

Andy turned to reach for more popcorn when his hand brushed against Ryes. He looked up to apologize but blushed as he'd seen he was already looking at him. He then got lost in his beautiful eyes, the color illuminated under the glow of the movie screen.

Rye did the same, the ocean blue now very vibrant and pulling him in like the real ocean itself. He was then snapped out of his thoughts as a small child started crying, the mother rushing out with him to calm him down.

The movie ended a little after. Rye threw away the their trash, grabbing onto Andy's hand again and leading him back to the entrance. They waved at brook as they passed by, Rye telling him to come over tomorrow.

They began their walk back to Ryes house. It was now evening time, the sun setting as the sky turned its fiery orange that rye loved so much. Andy walked along beside him. He was lost in his thoughts. He wondered why Brook looked and felt so familiar when he hadn't seen him once in his life. He wasn't watching where he was going and tripped over a rock.

Rye caught him before he hit the ground, holding him protectively around his waist and pulling him back to his feet. Andy stared at him, waiting for something to happen while Rye stared back."Can I kiss you?" Rye suddenly asked, his eyes now focusing on his lips. "I've never been kissed before" Andy said now staring at his lips as well.

Rye placed his hand onto Andy's soft cheek, tilting his head and placing a soft, and quick kiss on his lips. Ryes heart was doing backflips and his stomach fluttered with butterflies. He then pulled away to see Andys reaction. Andy only smiled as a blush crept up onto his cheeks, his lips tingling. Rye smiled back at him taking his hand in his as they continued their walk home.

Hue sat on the couch watching TV, smiling up as the door opened revealing his blushing son, Andy behind him also blushing. "Did you have fun at the movies Andy?" Hue asks, turning off the TV. Andy nodded rapidly "it was amazing" he says smiling his bright smile that made Ryes heart skip a beat. "I'm glad you had fun" Hue says "thank you Hue" Andy says back before making his way to Ryes room.

Rye tried to follow behind him when Hue stopped him. "Did you kiss him?" Hue asks making Rye look at him with wide eyes. "How'd you know that?" He asks which he only got a laugh in return. "You both were blushing very hard" he points out making Rye sigh.

"So how was it?" Hue asks patting him on the shoulder. Rye smiles as he remembers what happened. "It was amazing" Rye says, his smile not leaving his face again. Hue brought him into a hug, squeezing him tight "I don't ever wanna see that smile fade" he says.

It's been a while since Rye had genuinely smiled. The twins and Robbie were on a family vacation with his mom so he hadn't gotten to see them as much as he'd thought he'd be able to.

The visits had been getting slimmer even before summer break, his mother not giving a reason why.His friends were all on vacation, other than Brook, so he couldn't hang out with them but ever since Andy showed up, he had made him forget about all of that. Everything that Andy did, even as little as a sneeze, made Rye smile with genuine happiness.

Andy laid back on Ryes bed as he stared at the ceiling, the glow in the dark stars glowing brightly. His brain was flowing with the thoughts of the kiss he'd shared with Rye. It was his first kiss but also his best. He knew he had nothing to compare it to but he didn't want to. There was just something about Rye that made his heart soar like a bird in the sky. He couldn't exactly tell what the feeling was but he liked it.
