due to his tireness, physically and emotionally, he eventually fell asleep.

the next morning was donghyuck waking up being bombarded by his members.

"oh god, good thing he's here"

"shh he might wake up and it's your fault"

"okay okay"

"what actually happened to him?"

fusses were heard around the room and donghyuck sits straight up.

"what are you all doing here?"

all are present in his room except for one person

mark.

he shrugs it off 'why should I care'  he was too hurt, he doesn't want to see Mark for now.

"Haechan" Johnny called him and he muttered "yeah?" in trance.

"geez you seem to be in a daze. What's bothering you?" the tall boy beside him asked as he was quick to shake his head.

"so I was saying.. why did you run away? we were so worried. Where were you?" donghyuck just sighed.

"I just want to ease my mind a bit. uh.. what's the schedule for today?" donghyuck tried changing the topic.

taeyong spoke up knowing why he ran away. "nothing hyuck.. um guys, mind if you do your business now? I'll just talk to him"

once they all left, Taeyong faced the tanned male.

"what did you saw?"

he knows. he knows it was because of mark. so he sighed in defeat. the tanned male was tired of crying so he just answered in tiredness

"I saw them. Mark and his girlfriend, Mina"

just then, Taeyong was quick to wrap his arms around the younger as his tears finally fell.

"hyung it hurts.. it hurts so much" taeyong continued on hugging each other while the broken male was crying in his chest. Taeyong caressing the boy's colored hair and back whilst muttering 'shhh it will be fine'

after a while, Donghyuck seemed to calm down and soft sniffles can now only be heard.

just as then, his stomach grumbles making the two giggle.

"let's eat?" the leader smiled earning a nod.

"thank you hyung"

"guysss we are going to my HOMETOWN! for NCT DAILY" announced Johnny excitedly. everyone cheered.

haechan was scheduled with Johnny and Taeil to clean the table and wash the dishes

suddenly, Johnny's phone buzzed reading it.

"uh.. the manager is calling me. I'll just call another member to swap with me" Johnny smiled.

"can I do this alone? I just feel like doing this myself as the good maknae I am" donghyuck giggled.

"ooh. our Haechanie is changing" Taeil ruffled his hair and coughed after "kidding aside, are you sure you can do all these? are you okay?" Taeil worrily asks.

"yes hyung and I'm fine.. Johnny hyung and Taeil hyung, you can now go" Haechan smiled.

the two left and donghyuck continues his work. Actually, he took this as an opportunity to ease his mind busying himself.

"hyuck.."

donghyuck was startled with the calling of his name and looked to see it was mark. he just continued his work ignoring the older.

"can I help?" mark blurted out breaking the deafening silence between the two. Not earning a response, mark just helped.

Donghyuck was nervous. Nervous that his heart loudly thumping can be heard so he fastened his work.

he was washing the dishes and mark could only stare at his back.

Mark couldn't hold back anymore when he went and wrapped his arms around the younger, back hugging him while he nuzzles into donghyuck's neck.

now Donghyuck was shaking. "m-mark. what a-are you doing?" donghyuck tried letting go but mark didn't let him budge.

"they might see us"

"i don't care"

"are you crazy?!!" donghyuck whispered yell.

"I miss you.." donghyuck froze.

"what for"

"can we go back" feeling wet in his shoulders, mark was crying. Donghyuck faced mark and looked at him.

"why are you crying?" Haechan giggled sweeping the tears with his thumb caressing the older's face

mark hugged the latter and he hugged back.

"I want my haechanie back.. my best friend" Mark sniffled. Donghyuck felt guilty that their friendship was slowly drifting because of his stupid feelings.

so he made a choice.

"I'm coming back to you"
