Minji's POV
I was standing in a dimly lit alley with my fellow members of 2NE1, 5 intimidating men before me. Our leader, CL, was staring down the one orange-haired man, G-Dragon, or GD, who I assumed from past encounters to be their leader.
"I've told you several times CL. You're not welcome in this town." GD said, crossing his arms.
"You don't scare me" CL stepped closer and tilted her head. "...G-Dragon." she said in a mocking voice. "What kind of a name is that anyway?" CL let out a chuckle.
GD glared at her. "You're lucky I'm even letting you stand here right now. I told you and your friends to get lost."
CL laughed and stepped forward again. "I think I like it here... Besides, what are you gonna do? Beat me into submission?" A reply came in the form of the sounds of guns being loaded. I quickly put a hand to my own weapon, a small blade in my pocket, as I looked at the other men. All of them were brandishing weapons that glinted in the moonlight, mostly guns.
GD spread his arms to gesture at the rest of his gang. "I wouldn't need to." he said, smirking.
CL stood back, scoffing. "Fine. You win this time. But I'm warning you." she said, all joking gone from her tone. "You might have more weapons, but we have something much better..."
And with that, she turned around, hair lightly whipping GD in the face, and started walking off, the rest of us members giving Bigbang one last look before following her.

Back at the abandoned warehouse that we call our base, CL, who was gnawing on one of her acrylic fingernails, turned to me.
"Minzy, how's your mission going? I think it's time-"
My eyes went wide. "To carry out the plan? Now?" I interrupted her.
"Yes, now. Or as soon as possible. Why, is there a problem?" she asked.
"No, no problem. It's just that..." I trailed off. CL just stared at me, waiting for me to finish.
"She's grown attached." Choon, one of my other members piped in. I avoided eye contact.
"Is that true, Minzy? Have you started to care about the target?" CL asked me.
"Well it's only natural, isn't it? The mission was to befriend them and friendship usually goes both ways." I looked around the room at the others pleadingly, tears collecting at the corners of my eyes, threatening to fall.
I thought CL was going to be angry but she just gave me a pitying smile. "I'm sorry to make you do this, but we need it. It's our last resort." She gently caressed the side of my cheek with her hand and tilted my face to look at her. I sighed. "When's the earliest we can carry out the plan?" she asked softly.
I wiped the tears from my eyes. "Hang on." I pulled my phone from my pocket and sent some messages. As I waited for a reply, my anxiety started to build. How could I do this? I'd be betraying my friend. But if I didn't do it, I'd be betraying these women I consider family. I was brought out of my head by the sound of my phone.
After reading the reply, I looked at CL. "Tomorrow morning."
She nodded, turning serious. "Tomorrow morning it is, then."

Jiyong's POV
After 2NE1 had left, me and the boys of Bigbang were, understandably, worried.
TOP took his cowboy hat off and began nervously fiddling with it, until Taeyang spoke up, voice laced with worry and confusion.
"What did she mean by that?" he asked. "What does she have on us?"
To that, I just shook my head. A million things were racing through it right now. There were so many possibilities, none of which I wanted to think about. All of our tracks have been covered, haven't they? Had we been careful enough?
"I don't know" I finally replied, with a sigh. "But we really need to put a stop to them. They're getting too close to home for my liking." I continued, rubbing my hands up and down my face in frustration. D-Lite, sensing my stress, put his hand on my shoulder.
"You're right, but I think right now we should go wrap things up at the club and go home for the night." he said.
Everyone liked that.
After returning home, I quietly got ready for bed. Tonight being the first night in ages that I got home before dawn. Passing by Y/n's room, I peeked in for a second to watch them soundly sleep. Watching them reminded me of the one reason why I chose this life, which was to provide for us after we lost our parents. Our father was the previous leader of the gang. If I didn't take his position after he died, we would've ended up living on the streets.
Even though I gave it my everything to keep my little sibling far away from my world, I was afraid that my everything soon wouldn't be enough...
Quietly sighing, I continued down the hallway to my bedroom, then crawled into bed. After just laying there for an hour or two, thoughts running through my head and a sense of dread settled in my stomach, I noticed that the sun was rising and decided sleep was not going to come to me any time soon, so I got up and slowly headed towards the kitchen.
