Chapter 1: Getting settled in

Third person pov

"I've moved most of my boxes in the apartment" She says sitting down on my mattress on the floor.

Her cat Toshi decides to come snuggle up on her lap.

"Mommy has to get back to work!" She says petting him. "I guess we can snuggle for awhile" She says laying down.

Without realizing she falls asleep. A couple hours go by, She wakes up. "I guess I feel asleep, must've worked harder than I realized" She huffs.

She grabs her phone, and stands up. She yawns walking around. "I wonder if any places are open?" She thinks to herself.

Her phone beeps. "Who would be texting me this late?.." She says turning on her phone.

She unlocks her phone reading the text.

Hizashi:
Are you all moved in?👀

You:
Just the boxes, and a mattress!

Hizashi:
Aww, I wanted to hang out next week. I've got a friend I want you to meet!

You:
Why are you so imvested in finding me a boyfriend?

Hizashi:
I think you're gonna like him! C'mon it'll be fun! Pleaseeeee????

You:
Fine, only cause I know you wouldnt stop asking if I didnt say yes.

Hizashi:
Yayyy!!! I gtg bye!

She giggles at his excitement. Hizashi has been her best friend for as long as she can remember. "I wonder who the person is gonna be" she thinks to herself.

She sighs loudly, walking outside making sure to lock the door behind her. She puts in her earbuds, and walks down the sidewalk.

"Hm, its getting late.." She looks up as the sky is turning purple. "Better head home" She thinks to herself walking back into her house.

She opens her door, locking it then closes it. Toshi rubs up agaisnt her. She giggled and petted him. She picks him up taking him to the bed, then laying down.

"Toshi, I think we're gonna like it here" She said before falling asleep.

- The next morning -

She woke up to Toshi licking her face. "Hey! That tickles!" She says shooting up. Looking at the time.

5:27am

"Why did you have to wake me up this early??" She asks the cat as he started walking to the door. "Fineee" She says getting up grabing his leash.

(Yes she walks her cat)

The both of them walk outside. As expected Toshi starts walking right away. She walks around for awhile noticing a tall, scrawny man.

She notices he has a cat with him as well. Toshi walks up to the cat making you follow him. "Sorry about him, Toshi!" She says while kneeling down.

The cat is fully white with blue eyes, the stangers cat comes over to you without second guessing. The white cat snuggled uo agaisnt you purring.

"Its no big deal" the tall man says kneeling down as well. They meet eyes, she could feel her heart start to race quickley paying more attention to the cat.

She could feel the man looking her while petting Toshi. "Whats your cats name?" You ask awkwardly breaking the silence.

"Snowwy, shes a girl" he says looking at her.
"Thats a pretty name for a pretty kitty!" You giggle standing back up.

"What about yours?" He asks looking at Toshi. "His name is Toshi. "Handsome name for a handsome boy" he says with a hint of teasing in his voice.

She instantly blushed a little, getting flustered. "We should get going now" she says picking up Toshi. "See you around!" She said turning away from him.

He watches her walk away turning away himself. She opens her door walking back in. "Wheww, That was awkward dont you think Toshi?" She asks him looking laying down.

She giggles slightly. Suddenly her laptop lights up.

Mom:
Sweetie, how is the new house treating you?
