Just thought I'd say, (B/N) means 'Brothers Name'. Default name could be Samuel if you can't think of one.

You looked at Alastor, both fear and confusion on your face.

"Wait... why did you come back to this shit-hole when you could've saved yourself and went back home?" Your co-worker crosses his arms, standing by the counter.

"Well, you guys are vulnerable--"

"Gee, thanks." Your co-worker rolled his eyes and then glared at Alastor, who's expression was dimming.

"As I was saying..! You guys are vulnerable and could've easily been took out by those rampaging shits. So, I came back to make sure you were safe." He pulled you into a hug while he said the last part.
You took in his scent and smiled, not wanting him to let go. Sure, you only met him last night but it felt like you two had known each other for years.

Gunshots ran through the air and screams were heard, the type of screams Alastor longed to hear as he slaughtered his victims in the most gruesome way he could. He couldn't complain right now, but damn did he want to show those mafia bastards who own these streets.

Falling equipment and smashing could be heard in the back room what startled you and caused Alastor to hold you closer to him. He didn't want to lose someone he wanted as his own so soon after meeting them. The co-worker cautiously stepped to where the noises were heard and pulled out a masked male, with a young female in hand.
You took one glance at the two figures and pushed Alastor away, walking towards them. He had to admit, he felt a little hurt by that gesture.

"...(B/N)..." You muttered. He took off his mask and put the young girl down, who seemed to hide behind his legs. You squatted down to the girls height and gave her a gentle smile.

"Cleo... don't be afraid! It's Aunt (Y/N)!" You smiled and held out your arms. With that, your niece seemed to run straight into them and tighten her arms around your neck (strangling you. The end) giving you the biggest hug she could. You stood back up, looking into your brothers eyes and smiling. At least you knew they were safe.

As you averted your gaze to the store around you, there was a loud bang on the shutters of the salon. Alastor and (B/N) seemed to step forward as you, your co-worker and your neice stepped back. Alastor looked back and was about to say something but immediately got cut off by another, louder bang on the shutters. He motioned for everyone to stay dead silent, as we did.

There was rough grumbles from outside before they quietened down. You took a step behind Alastor, gripping onto his crimson jacket, and poked your head out from behind him, wating for something to pop through the doors, or at least another bang. But nothing came.
Alastor took a sigh of relief as he turned around and explained to everyone what they should do.

"Wait... who's house is closest?" He asked before explaining things further.

"Uhm... probably mine..?" You muttered into Alastor's jacket. You inhaled his scent and felt like you were floating on clouds.

"Ah! Great! We shall all go to (Y/N)'s home and stay there until this fiasco is over! Agreed?" Alastor stated, patting your head. Everyone nodded as they all creeped out the back door, Alastor trailing behind to make sure no one got lost and to make sure (Y/N) was alright.

You watched as everyone took a seat on your couch and locked the door, turning back to face everyone, you noticed Alastor had a very uncomfortable face while your dogs curled up next to his feet, his smile looking forced.

"What's wrong, Al? Scared of dogs?" Your co-worker chuckled as he crossed his arms in a stuck-up way. Alastor just glared at him what made the entire atmosphere around them seem so thick, you could put a bullet hole through it.

"If you want, I can take them upstairs?" You stood behind Alastor, looking down at your dogs. All he responded with was a frantic nod.
As you ushered your dogs up to your room and closed the door, you heard a faint tap from the window downstairs. You went down to see who it was but nothing was there. You looked at the group who seemed to be talking (apart from Alastor who was glaring at your co-worker) and shook it off as your imagination. But, you heard it again. You spun around and stared at the window, hoping the cause of the tapping would appear but it didn't.
You walked towards everyone and cautiously sat next to Alastor, who put an arm around your shoulder to make you feel secure.

"So... what do you know about the... 'rampage'?" Your co-worker asked Alastor with a suspicious look on his face.

"Well, I don't really know anything about them. Only that the mafia groups who are doing it think they own these bastard streets when we all know I---" Alastor cut himself off before he could finish his sentence, what was a good choice.

"We all know what?" (B/N) chimed in with a confused look on his face.

"I-I was going to say we all know that the deranged serial killer owns these streets. Probably all of New Orleans, to be fair." He put on a nervous smile, hoping no one could tell it apart from his usual one (which they didn't) and straightened his bowtie.

"Yeah... that delusional prick does have a one-up on those mafia groups..." (B/N) muttered under his breath, holding your niece who was sat on his lap.

Then, the taps came back. Only this time, everyone was aware of them...
