I stood in shock as my gaze was set firmly on Dom, unsure of what to do next. I didn't want him to find out about Colson and myself in this way.

"Dom, please let me explain." I spoke with tears in my eyes as he chuckled.

"There's not much to explain, this is all pretty straight forward." He spat. "Don't come closer." He spoke as I reached out for him.

"Please just let us explain." Colson said stepping into the conversation and it was almost like Dom forgot all about him until he spoke up.

"You're supposed to be my friend!" He exclaimed at Colson, rage written all over his face.

"You know how much I liked her and you just went for her anyway!"

I have never seen Dom like this before, he's always so happy and carefree and right now he looked about ready to murder Colson.

"I'm sorry!" Colson exclaimed and ran his hands through his hair. "I feel the same way about her!"

Colson's confession shocked us both.

"What are you talking about?" I asked him in disbelief and he bit his lip.

"I've liked you since the moment I first saw you and like the idiot I am, I screwed it up and let you run into Dom's arms!" He exclaimed in anger and I didn't know what to say next. "It was the biggest mistake of my life."

I ran my hands through my hair and leaned against the nearest wall, my legs turning to jelly.

I didn't know what to do. I care for them both and I don't want to lose either of them but I know that if I were to choose one I would lose the other.

"I don't want to lose either of you." I spoke solemnly. "You both mean so much to me and I know if I choose I will lose one of you.

There was nothing but silence for a while until Dom cleared his throat.

"I'm sorry, love, but you can't have us both."

I glanced at them, watching as they gazed at me with a pleading look on their faces, both begging for me to choose them.

I placed my head in my hands and took deep, calming breaths, trying to hold back the forming tears.

I glanced up at them both, my vision a bit blurry from keeping it shut too tight.

"I'm so sorry." I spoke glancing at Dom. "I want to be with Colson."

Dom glanced down at the floor with a devastated look on his face causing my heart to clench.

He glanced at Colson with a fake smile.

"Look after her, mate." He said before walking off.

Colson glanced at me in disbelief before hurriedly making his way to me and attaching our lips together.

He pulled away and leaned his forehead against mine, his eyes hypnotizing me.

"You just need to be patient with me." He spoke. "I don't want to do anything that could screw this up."

I glanced at him gently with a small smile on my face.

"I wouldn't have chosen you if it wasn't worth the risk."

He glanced at me with a wide smile before attaching our lips together once again.
